“Cozy and comfortable”

It was a really cozy and comfortable stay and easily one of the most immaculately clean places. The host really goes out of their way to ensure all your needs, big and small, are taken care of which makes you feel very welcome and the experience special.

This is the cleanest best equipped airbnb we've ever been to. Debbie is super nice and responsive. The place has everything you could need and there are tags/notes on everything, so, it's easy to use/enjoy. Location is also great. There a lake across the road and many great trails in the area. Algonquin Park West gate is 25 mins away and Huntsville is just 10 min away. There's coffee, tea, cream, snacks and bottles of water. I hope we can can back in the future.

“Perfect stay, everything you could possibly want!”

We stayed here for a couple of nights before heading out on canoe trip in the park. Our Place Up North is in a great location- easy access to Huntsville and the local shops, cafes, restaurants etc- but far enough out to feel like you have some space and peace. There is a swimming lake just across the road (a few mins walk through Tally Ho) which we enjoyed one sunny morning. The apartment is incredibly well stocked and everything is clearly labelled - the lovely host Debbie has truly thought of everything. There are plenty of things to entertain you on those chillier nights- games and dvds etc, and a lovely private outdoor area with a campfire if you fancy stargazing. There was even a welcome pack with snacks and nibbles to enjoy when we arrived, which was a real treat. We could have easily stayed much, much longer. Thank you Debbie!

Truly wonderful experience at Our Place Up North BnB! From the moment we walked in, everything was so clean and organized, not a spec of dust in site. Even the cutlery looked polished! BBQ was clean, fully functional and prepared for us. A cozy and quiet home that has everything you need for a getaway that feels like home. Photos are true to images, bed was very comfortable with clean sheets, host & hostess were super kind, prompt to respond and helpful to suggest for local activities, if not, they do have a local guide book, followed by further restaurant suggestions. Home is good location, not far from hiking/activities/local stores/charging stations. Nice touch with little gifts for guests and snacks. Have already recommended to my friends who are planning to head up north! 💓

“Exceptional vacation place. Everything you need and much, much more”

When I first entered i just stood there taking it all in. Amazing set up and hospitality! I appreciated all the attention to detail: a nice gift when you first walk in, an immaculately clean and tidy place, extra blankets seemingly everywhere, table games, a dehumidifier, extra water bottles, milk in the fridge, ice in the freezer, all kinds of coffee, fully-stocked kitchen glasses, dishes, etc., cleaning supplies, a great bathroom with supplies, and even a cooler bag for outdoors by the fire pit. Fire pit was clean and lots of kindling and wood supplied. Amazing Bluetooth speakers included, TV with streaming services and a nice fireplace. Even menus from nearby restaurants! Ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room. It was 35+ and very hot for the first couple of days and fans were all I needed to keep the place very cool. Big windows looking outside, easy parking. Communication with Debbie and Mike was prompt and easy. No problem getting the key from the outside lockbox with clear instructions. They checked in with me via text (through booking,com) each day to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. Absolutely wonderful! I was alone but this is also an ideal place for a couple

The apartment had everything and more to make our stay comfortable. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything was labeled and there were instructions for the appliances as well as menus for local eateries. The hostess quickly answered all of my questions by text and was happy to help out in any way with dining suggestions, etc.

Across from Tally Ho Resort. Lots of great beaches close by and accessible to the public. Everything you need with comforts of home and then some. Coffee, muffins, butter, jam, tea, yogurt, boiled eggs, yogurt and yummy granola, fruit, ice, electric fireplace, remote mood candles, WiFi, TV, Netflix, and Paramount. Nice outdoor space, BBQ, a fire chimney with a privacy fence. Ceiling fans. Toaster oven. Definitely would come back.
