This waterfront resort is located on Peninsula Lake, 6.4 km from downtown Huntsville. Facilities include 3 outdoor swimming pools, an on-site spa and a large inflatable water park on the lake. All rooms include free WiFi, a flat-screen TV and a coffee maker. In addition, the suites provide a well-equipped kitchenette. Deerhurst Resort boasts onsite restaurants:Eclipse Restaurant & Terrace and Compass Grill & Lounge, which are open year round. Open all year, this resort has activities and facilities to suit every season: in the summer guests can enjoy golfing, boating, treetop trekking and horse back riding. Winter activities include snowmobiling, sleigh rides, ice skating and dog sledding. Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area is just 1.7 km from Deerhurst Resort. Algonquin Provincial Park is 30 minutes' drive away.

“Just a average hotel experience, not a resort.”
The place is well maintained and clean. However, it is overpriced and they charge you for everything. The fridge in the room was ridiculously small and the food was disappointing. For the price I expected much more.

“Great location and facilities for kids”
Good range of facilities, especially for kids. The staff servicing the rooms were very responsive. When we called for extra towels and help to fix a blocked bathroom basin drain, they came quickly. Location is great ... short drive to Huntsville for dining options and shopping

“A Gem in Ontario”
This resort in Ontario is beautiful, overlooking a lake, mountains, and featuring a large, wonderful golf course. I enjoy the various water activities available at the resort, including different boats and jet skis.

“Just didn't meet expectations”
We stayed down by the water and the veiw was great and the area is wonderful beach is a nice place to cool off and the kayaks are great along with the indoor pool,jungle tree and arcade (but rather expensive at the arcade)
