“Fantastic place to stay”

We had a very nice stay here. The family was so friendly. The mother is a very good cook. The daughter has a boat to do boottrip in the lagoon. She speaks very good english and is very helpfull.

“A peaceful stay with a wonderfully kind family”

We stayed here for only one night, but it was absolutely wonderful. The whole family is incredibly warm and welcoming and treated us to delicious home-cooked food. We were even invited to take part in the cooking, which made the experience extra special. The bird watching and safari tour with Wasana was a real highlight. She did an amazing job – we saw many animals and had a lot of fun throughout the tour. We would 100% recommend the stay as well as all the activities offered. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of our Sri Lanka trip.

The family are lovely, the dinner was amazing, the katamaran bird safari in the morning magical, the cabin cozy. We felt most welcome and can highly recommend this homestay.

The family are so nice and helpful! The room was nice and cool and the breakfast was unbelievably nice. We also had dinner cooked for us once, we had fresh lobster and mullet caught that day by the father of the family. A very special place in a small coastal town

“Peaceful lagoon hideaway”

Lovely cabana with a local family. We had a delicious breakfast and also booked dinner and a catamaran lagoon trip which were both excellent. Thank you for the hospitality!

Such a nice family. Very welcoming and helpful. Great food and offers bird watching tour at reasonable price. Room a little small but big bathroom. All in all a good option for a few days.

The people running it are amazing. It’s good value for what you get. There is always room for improvement however, they put their heart and soul into it. They offer amazing food (really recommend) and bird watching boat tours in the lagoon. I will definitely come by again and support these people. Thank you

“unique, beautifull, family, honest place right next to the beach and habor with less tourists!”

unique family/locals place, on the edge to all this expensive tourist-hotels. so helpfull and caring. my wife is getting sick and this family helped us so kind, in the middle of the night, like she was her own daughter!!! they arranged everything for us, beautifull boat trip with the son, local fishing with the other son, laundry service, we even are allowed to use their refridgerator, arranged transfers -> so we don't get cheated by others! we will come back for sure.

I very much enjoyed my stay. The hosts are very friendly and really made my time here great!. The included breakfast was very good and included lots of fresh fruit, coconut rotti and coffee. I also added dinner for 2000 rupees and received a gigantic meal. If you are looking for an authentic Sri Lankan homestay this is a great spot!

Fantastic location. The hosts were wonderful and took me around the lagoon. The area is great for walking. The cabana is so close to the sea and the lagoon. The breakfast was homemade Sri Lankan cooking. A good start to the day.

Very friendly and thoughtful family. We feeling myself like at home. It's truth. Seems likes arrived to a parents, which very happy, that you came. The territory is interesting, the house is simple , but there are all needed facilities. It was good sleep at night, doesn't warm. Tasty and fresh food. And of course people, everyone! Thank you!
