We had a great few days staying with Sagara and his family. The room was very comfortable and the food was great. He lent us his scooter so we could visit some lovely beaches and lagoons. Would recommend

The room was very nice, clean, comfortable, the hosts were friendly and cooked really well ! It was delicious! The host helped us to find a driver to go to our next destination, and also helped us a lot to find shoes that we forgot on the way. I recommend this guest house !

This is an amazing place. The house is big and beautiful and close to nature. You can feel real Sri Lanka here. And the host will provide you with a lot of information about living in Sri Lanka- something you will not learn elsewhere. All the members of the family taking care of the place were extremely helpful. We additionely got the nature Tour with weaver birds' nests and monitor lizards from the host! Excellent place for birds watching and nature lovers! We highly recommend it!!!

Great transit point where to stop between Mirissa/Weligama/Hikkaduwa and national park/Ella. It is quiet area. Room, especially bathroom (with outdoor shower) is spacious. There are nice little details in the room which will give cozy atmosphere. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a great breakfast and dinner. We felt very welcomed here.

Casa Vacansa was the most surprisingly amazing accommodation of our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The whole homestay is decorated with so much love and attention to detail, something we found missing in most other accommodations where everything is more "functional". The room, bathroom and especially the terrace were amazing and it's a nice and romantic atmosphere for two having your dinner on the big porch. The food was very good (we had Sri Lankan Sea Food Curry) and it was fantastic and the service even better. The owner has 15 years of experience in a luxury hotel and it just shows with his service and attention to detail and his great English. We also did 2 tours to the nearby bird sanctuary and the Ussangoda Beach with him and had a great time. The area is very quiet so it's a good getaway from the busy hustling and bustling of the coastal towns to relax and enjoy the quiet. I almost never write feedbacks but our stay here was just too great not to write one.

Breakfast was exceptional and included, the evening meal was outstanding, order your drinks so they have them in, our preference is bottled Lion beer and ginger beer shandy, refreshing in the heat I read other peoples reviews and I had to include this homestay in our trip, Hungama doesn't attract the usual tourist but it was quite convenient to Yala and easy to access Bundala national parks. Our host, Sagara, took an hour out of his day to walk with us which was interesting and informative..

I spent a few days here and everything was perfect: The host has a wonderful family, very polite and communicative, they are always around you ready to help you if you need it. The owner, Sagara, is a very good man and knows the whole region very well. I was with him, on a motorcycle, in some very beautiful places and full of different wild birds. He also helped me to go to Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary, a beautiful place that I recommend to everyone. I must also say that the accommodation was very, very good, for a fair price, and also, the homemade food was excellent. I will definitely return here and recommend Casa Vacansa to everyone, with all my heart, with confidence.

Everything was great. The meal that was provided in place was perfect. The small compliments by the host made the atmosphere very friendly.
