Overview
In Humpolec centre Hotel Kotyza, renovated in 2020, offers quiet, comfortable accommodation, either in the hotel's main building or in the new, modern annex. The rooms in the main building offer garden views or views of the Orlík castle. They offer newly refurbished bathrooms, soundproof windows and most have private balconies. The modern annex, located in the serene garden, offers high-standard furnishings. All rooms have flat-screen TV and high-speed WiFi internet access. Hotel pleasant and stylish restaurant offers both traditional Czech specialties and international gastronomy with a varied menu of our homemade desserts. For beer lovers, the excellent Bernard Family Brewery's 11° beer is available on tap, as is the world-famous Pilsen 12°. On warm days, we offer you a summer terrace with lush Mediterranean flora, where you can taste mixed drinks and other specialties. At the hotel reception, guests can arrange visits to the neighboring Bernard Brewery, which is located just 120 metres from the property. The hotel is easily accessible from the D1 highway, both Prague and Brno can be reached within 1-hour drive.

Great base to stay when exploring this area - easy parking, friendly staff and good airy rooms which were quiet at nighttime (I took a room at the back of the building facing the car park)

We only had one night at hotel Kotyza, and booked it as it was close to the highway. However, you can’t hear the highway at all. The town is very charming and we were lucky to have a balcony facing the square. The staff were very helpful and friendly. If it wasn’t because we had to drive to our destination the next day, I would have loved to stay a few more nights and explored the area.

“Bit old school but in good shape, friendly, convenient and clean.”
Standard European breakfast. Very fast, attentive and friendly staff, parking few meters from reception. Wifi was okey but not the fastest (i.e. for watching football it was getting bit blurred from time to time).

“Great, fantastic hotel experience!”
This was by far the best hotel experience during our 2 weeks travel, which includes SAS Radisson and several other hotels in Germany and Sweden. This little Czech hotel offers way better services and facilities compared to the others. Why? You have large size windows which you can open to get fresh air. This seems to vanish from modern hotels. The room is great and you have lots of space. Parking is very easy, the location is superb. Staff is very friendly. I will definitely return! I recommend it very much if you travel with pets.
