Such a lovely quiet place and with secured parking so really ideal if you have a car. So much love has gone into making this place, its comfort comes from the heart (as well as being super clean, with comfortable bed, pillow, good sheets, decent bathroom etc).

“Excellent choice for staying in Humahuaca”
Munay Humahuaca is a quiet little Hostal in the less touristy part of Humahuaca. At night, it's completely quiet. The parking is secure, and even has sun roofs so your car doesn't heat up. The room was cozy and nicely decorated. It haf an adobe look and may well have veen built out of or at least using adobe/clay. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast service made an effort to avoid producing garbage and wasting food, which also led to a more personalised breakfast service, which both was very nice. The impression of the entire place was that it was impeccably clean. They made every effort to keep out the dust, and whenever staff were not otherwise busy, they were about cleaning something. Very impressive. If you want to take excursions say to Hornocal, Iruda, Salinas Grandes or any place up there, ask for a recommendation at the reception. I took their advice and went to Hornocal with Marcelo Nuñez (mail [email protected], phone/whatsapp +54 388 4845283), which was a very nice experience. We went alone (off season, and he doesn't take big groups anyway), he is driving very responsibly, is very knowledgeable, and doesn't rush or try to sell anything. Also, the price was much more reasonable then the tour with a minibus I was offered in the centre if the village. Apart from the price, the road up to Hornocal is not something I would have liked to experience in a minibus.

We loved its atmosphere with its colorful enterior and creative decoration, the cleanliness, the comfortable beds, the attentiveness of the staff. Even the breakfast was pretty good.
