We stayed for one night in a double room and it was lovely. We’d definitely stay again! The other guests were super friendly and so were the staff. The room was spacious, bed comfortable and shower great too, all very clean. WiFi worked excellently. In a perfect location to view the mountains. Would definitely recommend.

“Relatively safe and clean, but would not recommend it to friends and family”
The room was clean, but the hostal is not in the centre of Humahuaca so getting back at night didn’t always safe though it was only a 10 minute walk. The welcome was so-so. The breakfast was bad: Nescafé, hard bread and rationed portions of jam and butter. The hostal is very pricey in comparison with better hotels in Salta and Buenos Aires. Indeed, it was much more expensive than an amazingly beautiful and comfortable boutique hotel in Salta (villa Vicuña). Paying was also a problem because their card machine only accepts cards from Argentinian banks which are linked to National ID cards. I ended up making a bank transfer.

We have been transmitted to another Hostal. Apparently there was no room available and the new Hostal have been in the middle of nowhere and didn’t fit our expectations.
