This was by far one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had, and I genuinely do not understand how this property has such a high rating. The listing makes it clear that the bathroom is shared, but it does not adequately prepare guests for the reality of staying in this apartment. You are essentially sharing the living space with the owner's elderly mother, the daughter, and her partner, who occupy the other rooms. The apartment is extremely noisy! There is also a dog that barks very loudly, making it feel as if it is in the room next door at all times. What was even more disappointing was that smoking takes place inside the apartment. When I returned at around 10:30 PM, the entire apartment already smelled strongly of cigarette smoke coming from the living room. I was tired and chose to ignore it because I had an early departure and a five-hour drive the next morning. However, at around 11:30 PM, the daughter, her partner, and the mother arrived home and started making a tremendous amount of noise. They took showers, cooked food, watched Netflix loudly in the living room, and continued smoking. At around 12:30 AM, after being unable to sleep and reaching the end of my patience, I politely asked them to respect the nighttime quiet hours. The daughter's response was simply: "Well, then go to sleep." The complete lack of consideration for paying guests was shocking and extremely unprofessional. The bathroom was also very dirty, with hair everywhere. Additionally, I woke up with multiple bites and have serious concerns that there may have been bed bugs, although I cannot confirm this with certainty. I would strongly advise future guests to be cautious before booking this accommodation. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely unpleasant, and I would not stay here again.

The family who owns the apartment is really nice, location is great if you come with a bus and want to do some exploring in the city or around it. Both long-distance and local busses almost next to the building.

Very kind hospitality with a delicious breakfast of tostada and oranges. The room was comfortable. Good hot shower next door. Great location for walking around Huelva centre and the sea promenade. Muchissimas Gracias!

The host is the loveliest person and made the visit very special. The coffee was delicious and it is just next to the bus station, which is exactly what I needed.

Absolutely lovely place! I wasn't sure at first what to expect but Ms. Josefa was an amazing host - even though she doesn't speak English she was well prepared with an automatic translator in her phone. It's a regular flat after all so everything was provided. The room was nice and cozy and I even got breakfast in the morning even though I was getting up and leaving unusually early :)

Josefa was such a lovely, welcoming host. I felt very at home and she was also so accommodating of my bicycle in her lovely flat. It's important to note that this isn't a hotel, it's her home, and all the better for it.

Joséfa s house is a lively home where you are received exceptionally with as much kindness as discretion and it is just such a nice experience as opposed to a hotel. Ideally located and very comfortable the place is perfect if you re looking for something more authentic.
