Great hostel with amazing staff who were super helpful and friendly. The location is in a good and safe part of the city, and they helped me organize a Laguna 69 tour for a great price. Definitely recommend!

“Good value stay”

Great price for the room, even included an ensuite. It was also very convenient that we could check in early when we arrived from our night bus. The lounge area upstairs is spacious and has a great view of the mountains, and there is a good atmosphere when it is busy.

Mariandes is well located and not far from the centre of town, which means it is more quiet at night. The owner was super helpful, the room was clean and the views were great.

Alan is someone who will be able to help you whatever your request. He knows the region well and his prices are attractive. hot water when you return from your trek at any time and a beer on the terrace with sunset what more could you want. I lost my jacket with my maps on a trek and he was able to help me get them back.

“Excellent”

Mariandes Hostel was great! There is everything you need, they have a big kitchen and a rooftop with an amazing view. They have warm water and the wifi is good. The breakfast is included and they bring fresh bread every morning (the best bread I had in Peru so far). The owner Alan is very nice. He always asked if we were ok and if everything was fine. Also he helped me find the best tours for me and even let me stay longer after the check out while I had to wait for my bus. So, all in all, a great experience, I would always come back :)

The people who work there were always willing to help with any question/request I had. The room was clean, quiet and confy with a cute view of the city. Internet worked well in the room and common areas like the kitchen and terrace. Last but not least it has a nice location. I'll give it a 10. Thank you and see your soon :)

“Ok for a short stay”

Alan was a great host, he facilitated an easy 2am departure for us to head into the mountains, had secure storage for the stuff we didn't need for the expedition, booked us in for when we got back and even ordered a takeaway pizza for us on our first night back. I was taken to hospital on my return and Alan helped my friend organise all this and was generally great. Would highly recommend his place to anyone.

Comfy beds and hot showers. Big kitchen and awesome terrace views. Attracts a good crowd. Alan is a great host and has all of the local knowledge that you could want
