The family running the hotel is super kind, friendly, and very helpful in accommodating the guest needs, like organizing transport, recommending trips, or serving a breakfast earlier than they usually do. The hotel itself is really nice, with an amazing view from the top floor 😍

The rooms are spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and the linens are soft and inviting. The hotel staff is kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Maimara Hotel and were truly touched by the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and warm throughout our visit. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage until very late, which made our travel plans much easier. What impressed us the most was their generosity when our Uber order was canceled because of our luggage. Even though it was raining, the hotel staff went out of their way to personally drive us to the Movil Bus station. This level of care and responsibility is rare and deeply appreciated. I also really loved the fireplace on the first floor. Sitting by the burning fire made me feel so warm and comfortable, especially after a long day. It created such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

I had an amazing experience at Hotel Maimara. The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the snow-capped mountains right from the rooms and common areas. The hotel is peaceful, impeccably maintained, and truly feels like a little sanctuary in Huaraz. Piero and his parents were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. Their hospitality made my stay feel personal and memorable. The service throughout was excellent. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and of very high quality, with great heating that keeps you warm during the cold Huaraz nights. One of my favorite spots was the patio with a lovely garden where you can work, relax, or enjoy the sun. The internet connection is fast and reliable, which was perfect for remote work. Overall, it was an exceptional stay. I will definitely return on my next visit to Huaraz.

Staff went above and beyond, let us have breakfast the day we first arrived as we got there super early and let us shower when we finished our trek even though we hadn't booked another night. Hotel is lovely and has amazing views from top floor breakfast bar and a delicious breakfast.

Staff was so kind and welcoming. They really went an extra mile for us, bringing us to bus stops or making fresh herbal tea when I fell ill. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, reminded us of Switzerland or Austria. Breakfast was great with fresh products everyday and a stunning view on the mountains. Beds were very comfortable and our room also had a beautiful view.

“Excellent, and the staff were the best”

Staff were excellent, rooms were so wonderful and tidy. Whole place just had an incredible energy to it, we stayed for ten whole days and extended our stay because we love it so much. Felt totally safe too. Beautiful hotel, we were very lucky to get the chance to stay here. And the breakfast was 10/10 everyday!
