After some miscommunication at the beginning, almost everything went smoothly. In Peru, time can sometimes be flexible, so there was a bit of waiting here and there. But the rooms were clean, we had hot water, and it was very convenient that we could leave our luggage for free during the trek and also store it for the whole day after check-out without any problem.

Reasonably priced, rooms were quite modern and clean, breakfast was good given it was included.

“Comfy friendly stay in Huaraz”

Rooms are super clean and comfy, the temperature does drop quite a bit in Huaraz at night but could not tell in the rooms. Richard and his family are very friendly and helpful. We extended our stay directly with them and actually stayed a total of 6 nights. Richard also organised all our trips during our time here which was great as we really didn’t need to do anything at all! Breakfast is simple but tasty and fills you up for the day ahead. It really is a great place to stay in Huaraz, it’s great value for money.

“Decent stay overall, room for improvement”

+Fairly new accommodation, comfortable bed, spacious room +Friendly staff, breakfast included +Good and hot shower +Hot water went and the owners sorted it straight away late at night which was great +We felt safe in the property -Breakfast set up is a bit strange. Eggs were cooked for us, then a knock at our door to tell us it was ready, when we weren’t, so our eggs were cold when we came down. Would be better if eggs were cooked to order when people came down. Fruit would also have been a nice addition. -Location is far from the centre, walking 20+ minutes -The area around is quite loud, we were woken up twice by binmen blasting a stupid announcement on a megaphone. And also struggled to sleep with people chilling in the square chatting and playing music.

A very nice place with wonderful hosts. 15 min from the city center, hot shower, parking next to the hotel. All good.

“Family friendly”

The house is nice and clean. The host is super nice and helpful, and ready to answer any questions. We stayed with kids. Few playgrounds around. It is quiet and safe there. Enjoyed some evening walks. The breakfast and coffee was delicious. We had also a parking spot.

Super comfy bed, let us check in at 8 am, nice folks, homely, access to a kettle.

It was a very good hostel. The breakfast was delicious, and the cleanliness and service were excellent. The host Ronald and his family are kind and helpful whenever you need anything. There are shops nearby, so it's not inconvenient at all. Staying at this hostel made me fall in love with Huaraz. I would like to return to this place and recommend it to others as well.
