Good location very close to the plaza de armas and most shops and tour agencies. They also have a tour agency in the same building as the hostel but I didn't book with them so can't say anything about that. The rooms are spaceous as are the common areas: they have a pool table, table tennis, roof top terrace and small climbing gym (pretty unique I think!). Staff was always superfriendly and knowledgable and could help with arranging day trips or multi-day trips. The hot showers are a blessing after a long day out :)

I stayed here 4 nights. It’s a very well-located hostel full of fellow backpackers. The staff was very nice and helpful. There are plenty of common rooms with table games, billiards table, bouldering wall and a bar. You can book tours here as well.

Really loved Big Mountain :) the staff are incredibly kind and knowledgeable, you can ask Arti about any treks/peaks as he is a guide and can give great tips. The hostel has great common spaces to relax in, a big, well-equipped kitchen, and an amazing rooftop for the best sunsets Everything is clean, the beds are super comfy, and showers have great pressure and hot water, which is great after coming back from a trek. It’s also perfectly located in the centre, is affordable and includes a free breakfast. Plus the climbing wall! Highly recommend

The Hostel was in a great location and good value for money. Had a big kitchen and the rock climbing wall upstairs. They looked after my bag while I went treking.

Most social hostel in Huaraz IMO. The 2 owners are very nice and the included climbing wall is a massive benefit, good place to meet partners and socialize with likeminded people.

It is a very social hostel. The staff is great and they even remembered my name. They clean the room once a day. All the rooms have a private toilet. They have a Terrasse, plenty of spaces to hang out and socialise, a billiard table, table football, ping pong, etc. location is amazing, in the midst of the centre and close to everything. Gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis.

It’s good to have common areas and the bathroom in the room was reasonably clean. The location is central to shops and buses.

I stayed in Big Mountain almost 1 week. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the whole hotel is spotless, they are always cleaning, perfect location near the center, cosy common areas, breakfast is simple but good, and the trekking&Tours company at ground floor is also super friendly and super convenient and helpful. It is in the city centre, quite convenient. My bed n room are enough space. Big common areas n some game facilities, like snooker, rock climbing...
