Average hostel for short stay. Nothing special.

Great staff, super helpful. Let me check in early and leave my bags when I went hiking. Very clean rooms and toilets. Love that they provide a towel. Location is a little far from the centre but there was great local food options close by so it’s not an issue.

From my room window I had a great view, the service from the property owners was excelente they even let us stay after checkout in the common areas and everything was so comfortable.

“A lovely family and a lovely place to stay in Huaraz”

The family who run this hostel are amazing. I arrived at 6am and was welcomed quietly and efficiently so I could get some sleep before my first day in Huaraz (it’s such good value I had paid for the night). Clean and cosy room with single beds plenty of blankets and big lockers, clean bathroom with hot water. Booked tours to Laguna 69 and the glacier direct at hostel, and had breakfast one day too. I was able to check out late, and host got me a taxi (and then brought my forgotten phone charger and power bank to bus terminal - hero!!) Some of the kindest and friendliest people I’ve met in Peru. Thank you 💗💗💗

Had the whole dorm for myself the whole time. Really good hot shower. Wifi works perfectly! Is unbelievably cheap!

The owner and staff of hostel are very friendly and always helpful. The hot water is stable and the bed is comfortable, location is 15-20 minutes walk from the town center, and there are many restaurants around. I have enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay here again when I come back to Huaraz.

A great hotel in a quiet part of Huaraz, it has friendly staff, comfy beds: good value for money!

Owners are very nice and helpful. They can advise on what is worth to see and do in Huaraz. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

Hostel is located in a quiet area, the staff was very helpful, he gave me very good advice for hiking and tours, also they offer tours with a good price, Clean room,comfortable bed, hot water for shower, good wifi, very much value for the money, I would like to stay again when I visit to Huaraz next time

Super helpful and kind staff, helped us with tours - gave good advice. We also got to check out at night for half the price. Accommodating for our vegan diet. An amazing view from the top floor. Close walking distance to Mirador de Rataquenua.

I really enjoyed my stay at Artesonraju as it was in a quiet location in a rather residential neighbourhood, with convenience shops and local eateries nearby. It's approximately a 15-20 minutes uphill walk from the city centre.The room was very clean with enough storage space and an ensuite bathroom with a hot shower. The friendliness of the staff is remarkable. Every inquiry I had was taken care of immediately and always to my complete satisfaction. I booked all tours with the hostel and got even a discount. Definitely would stay here again.

What a great place to stay! couldn't recommend more. A short 15 min walk from the centre and with a great rooftop to see sunsets. Hot shower, good wifi and very clean! The best were the hosts, always there for us, amazing and cheap tours as well as the best hikinh tips. Gear can be rented too.

Amazing place with the view to all the town, clean, friendly staff. It's a bit far from everything but it's more plus than minus. you can get a taxi for 5 soles The hot water was warm enough in the night but not in the morning.
