Staying at Andes Hostel was an amazing experience. It is a perfect hostel to make friends, do some nice trips and have a good time. We booked a few tours there for a good price and honestly felt like home. The owners were so nice too. Twice, there was no running water at all, so that is maybe a critique point, but when that happened, the owner boiled water for us and mixed it with cold water so we could take a shower. He was always there when needed. In total, can absolutly recommend this hostel, if you are looking for a nice and not costly place to stay for the time you are in Huaraz.

Great hostel to plan your treks in the region - helpful staff, hot showers, big breakfast, comfortable beds, and many other hikers to meet up with. I ended up staying 4 weeks there!

Staff very friendly Breakfast included starting at 7:30am so often we missed it if we were doing an early hike About 15minute walk from the main square Kitchen available for cooking was useful Did 2 tours through the hostel, one was great and the other one was very badly organised

Meet a lot of people, get lots of infos about hikes around, comfortable beds and clean room

Ronald is very helpful with organising tours and busses as well as renting good quality equipment at a fair cost. The rooms are clean, and you get some good altitude training with the stairs hahaha. Good breakfast and tea/coffee available throughout the day. Great place to stay before/after a trek! Hope to see you and your family again when I return to complete pisco! Thank you for everything.

It's a family hotel and they go out of their way for you! We left very late at 7 p.m. and we arrived very early without being charged anything for it! They also have a ton of tours that leave from the hostel and they are all super reasonable! I felt super safe. Breakfast is good and varied and is included, thank you very much.

The owners these hostel were really friendly the breakfasts are good and varied . The price is too good to be true, especially with breakfast included. I can recommend to book your tours through them since the prices are very good and your are picked up at the hostel. The dorms don't have bunk beds but regular beds! Had a great time and would definitely come back.

Stayed here Andes hostel before and after our trek! Comfy rooms with good hot showers! We did laundry here twice and it is amazing, it smells so so good and is quick! Breakfast is simple but changes everyday! The owners (main man and woman at reception) are both so lovey smiley and friendly! I never right reviews but thought I would for this place as it was so good!! It’s also quiet bc it’s sli, thank for everthing.

My stay was fantastic, they were always attentive to us, offering their help, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and the breakfasts were varied and delicious, thank you.

A really sweet hostel, Ronald and his family and Dani are amazing, really nice ambience, available tea and a nice kitchen that people gather around, Ronald has a travel agency and you can easily organize your treks and daily hikes from the hostel, highly recommended! I enjoyed every minute there, can't wait to come again :)
