“A Beautiful Stay in Tunxi”

What a beautiful hotel! Refurbished to a high standard, but has a lovely traditional, characterful feel. Helpful information to get the best from our trip was readily available. Beds are super comfy. Breakfast was delicious with a mix of Chinese and some western foods. All thoughtfully prepared. A really lovely stay in Tunxi district of Huangshan.

Jayson and his lovely wife are exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and always ready to help with any questions or needs. Their hospitality truly made this stay special. After spending a month traveling through China, I can honestly say I’m so glad I chose to stay here for my final days. The memories I’ve made—of both the people and the culture—will stay with me. If you’re planning to visit Yellow Mountain, this is the perfect place to stay. You’ll feel completely supported and well-guided in exploring all the attractions. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but the feeling here is something different—warm, peaceful, and truly unforgettable.

The hotel is set in the central street of Huangshan, walking distance to all amenities, with transport available to and from the station or airport. The town itself has a modern vibe but maintains cultural elements of times gone by and has a very serene feel to it. Jaysen, the owner of the hotel, was unbelievably attentive to our every need or request and helped way beyond any of our expectations to ensure our visit went smoothly. I have stayed in hotels around the world and never before found such an accommodating, helpful and diligent host.

Everything was great from the moment we checked in to when we left. Our room was exceptional with very comfortable bed and a serene interior design. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful: from helping us navigate in the city to buying tickets to the Yellow mountains. The breakfast area is a gentle and calm start to the morning with local delicacy served. The location is very central and within the historical center. I would love to stay here again soon!

The hotel is in excellent location. There are shops and restaurant around. Breakfast, there are not various choices. They have will 2 options to choose between Veg fried rice and wonton, fruit, Chinese dessert, tea, coffee, and milk. The staff and the owner are very nice and helpful.

If you’re looking for a true home away from home, Mild Spring is it. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the serene, Chinese-inspired ambience and the genuine warmth of the team. Jayden, his wife, and everyone there were exceptionally helpful, personable service, treating us like friends and offering great tips for exploring Huangshan and nearby attractions. The hearty Chinese breakfast was delicious, everything was spotless, and the space felt calm and welcoming. Great location, laundry facilities available—and we can’t wait to come back.

The boss, lady boss, and staff are very helpful and polite in every way. They had guided us in places to visit and were very sincere in ensuring that our stay was a very pleasant one. A lot of eateries and places to walk around in the vicinity.

The Hotel ist located in a lively, beautiful old part of Tunxi. The building is very beautiful too, lots of wood, tranquil and pleasant! Rooms/bathrooms perfectly clean. But the best were our hosts: Welcoming, caring and attentive. Without their detailed explanations about the visit to the Huangshan Mountains we would have been lost at the entrance. Thank you so much, we really enjoyed our stay!

We really loved this hotel and wish we'd have been able to stay for more than one night. The reception area and our room were both really nicely decorated. Our room was very comfortable. But most of all, our host Jason was incredibly helpful re what to do in Huangshan City and how to go walking on the Yellow Mountain (which is about an hour north of the hotel). Jason also organised an excellent tour of some of the ancient villages

“A Lodge that live to our expectations in Tunxi”

We stay 2 nights, but not consecutive, the owner Mr Cao recommend us to keep our bulky luggage at the property while we head for Huang Shan hike and hong cun. He help us with our hike planning with practical suggestions with his years of experience in the travel industry, and also help us with transport arrangements. The property is warm and cosy and ooze a sense of traditional charm and at the same time modern and clean. The breakfast is nice, coffee is very good. We received prompt attention to our queries before our trip. The location in LiYang Old Street is suberb, as it caters to the younger crowd and at the same time also walking distance to tunxi old street and the local patronised facilities. We would definitely stay here again.
