“The MOST convenient place to stay for Huangshan”

First of all, it was incredibly helpful that we could communicate with Shon, the owner, in English via WeChat. From the very beginning, he went out of his way to assist us. He kindly arranged to pick us up from Huangshanbei Railway Station and even organised a visit to Hongcun Village on our way to his hotel in Huangshan. Shon was extremely helpful with advice on how to purchase tickets and which areas of the mountain were best to cover during our two-day visit. In addition to providing us with a beautiful room and excellent food, he also offered complimentary transfers from the hotel to the ticket office for the cable car, which made our visit so much easier and more enjoyable. All in all, we felt very lucky to have stayed at Yunshan Villa and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Huangshan.

“A perfect holiday away from home”

Everything was really wonderful. If you are the type of person who would want to hike and admire the nature at Huangshan, please book this place. You can just relax here. You can have all your meals here because they have a good cook and the price is very reasonable. It’s like perfect home cooked food. The owner arranged transportation to and fro from this villa. He is a really helpful and friendly person. Keep it up. 👍🏻 No complaints at all about the room. Very relaxing. Good sceneries around the villa.

All the family staff member are super helpful and kind. They gave me the best advices and try to support me in all my movements to get to the bus park station and to the station to go back. The hotel has a little restaurant with good food. It's a nice hotel, room was pretty, comfortable bed and big shower. Position is ok if you cannot sleep inside the park. About 10mins far from park bus station. 50mins far from Huangshan North station. Breakfast included that I couldn't have because I got up very early but they prepared to take away. Perfect

Recommended place to stay if u prefer a quiet and remote place from the town. Owner is friendly as they will arrange transport pickup from train station. Simple breakfast and price of dinner is reasonable.

“Lovely quiet family run villa”

This is a lovely family run villa in a beautiful location where you can wander around nice streets and nearby river path. The mother is the main fantastic cook - great breakfasts (nice congee or eggs, toast etc) with good coffee and they offer dinner meals which are delicious (and good price) and just added to your final bill (as is the 1 hour shuttle buses to and from Huangshan airport). Room was very beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The father can take people to and from some local sights - including the main bus station nearby which takes tourists up to the start of the Huangshan mountain trek. I had a rest day at the villa after this trek! Its a good place to stay for a few days if you want a quiet break from the big cities. A safe and comfortable place to stay for a woman, solo traveller. The location is lovely, and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. Shon organised for a car to pick us up at the train station in Huangshan City, as well as the drop off, a trip to Hongcun and the shuttle to Huangshan, all for a super fair price. He also was super helpful in explaining us which way to follow for out hike in Huangshan. The in house restaurant is also very convinient and tasty. So welcoming!

Amazingly friendly people who helped us with all our needs. The brought us everywhere we needed to go free of charge. Some shuttles did cost a little bit, but only for the very far away places (~1 hour drives). We could even call them to pick us up whenever we were ready to return. The rooms were nice, amenities were plentiful and the rooms felt clean. Breakfast was good, with a mix of western and chinese things to eat. We could even get lunch there and dinner, they have a menu from which you could choose varying local dishes as well. The location is very close to the Emerald Valley, only about 10 minutes walk. To get to Huangshan they can drive you to the entrance and bus stop at Tangkou free of charge which was very convenient.

Make sure to pet the cat at the reception, his name is 大吉, which means good fortune! Perfect mix of cozy vibes, best views, and hassle-free stays. 10/10 would come back!
