“Very nice place in a quiet area but close to everything.”

Absolutely loved this hotel an the kind staff/owner who spoke really good english. We were picked up at Tangkou bus station upon arrival which was great. The room was spacious and had a balcony and bath tub which we hadn't expected but very much enjoyed. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels crisp and white. The location was perfect, only a short walk to the bus transfer station for Huangsha Mountain. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around and it's a rather quiet area. We would definitely stay here again.

“Huangshan trekking”

A great base for trekking in the Huangshan Mountains. The hotel manager knows the mountains very well and gave us detailed advice on where to go and how to plan our hikes. He pointed out many important details that are especially useful if you are visiting the area for the first time. Communication in English was easy and smooth. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone planning to explore Huangshan. We also got help arranging shared transport to Huangshanbei Railway Station at a good price. There is also a nice café in the hotel lobby.

Outstanding hospitality. I might be partial, as I befriended the manager Timo and the receptionist Xiao Lin. The room is very cozy with outstanding river view; room 201 has a river view bath tub. The common area on the ground floor is great for socializing (try the milk based cocktails!) with other hikers and the fattest cat ever Mimì. Free laundry is a big plus. I found a second home at 0517.

Great location near the Huangshan walks and restaurants, helpful staff saved us from needing to hire a guide for our walk, and helped us secure reliable and safe shared transport to the station. Rooms are comfy and offer lovely views of the town and mountain.. great town for travellers, quaint, quiet and safe.

Had a great stay at 0517! The host was very helpfull with anything from transport to the train station to hiking trails and transport back and forth. The hotel itself is really nice and with great atmosphere. One of the best hotels I have stayed in during my travels to all over the world, especially when it comes to value for money!

The location was a 10 minute walk to the transfer station where you catch the buses to the park. Staff were phenominal and went above and beyond to ensure I had an amazing time. They gave some great route recommendations for my day of hiking and even drove me to a restaurant when I was craving hot pot in the evening. My room was a good size and clean. There is no elevator but if youre here to hike, you should be okay climbing up a couple of stairs as that is what you'll be doing the entire time you're in the park. They will also organise a shared taxi if you need to and from the train station for 30 RMB. All in all, 10/10! Would recommend anyone stay here.

“Coolest hotel to stay in for Huangshan”

My friend and I had a twin room, which the friendly staff upgraded as there were fewer bookings during our stay. The hotel looks exactly like the photos. The room was very comfortable, exceeded our expectations and was excellent value for money. The hotel itself very cool and boutique (as the name suggests). Everyone was very friendly (cat included), spoke great English and even helped us plan our trip to the mountain the following day. After our hiking day, we were able to grab food easily as the hotel is within a 30 sec walk to family-run restaurants, a convenience store and a bakery. When we returned, there was a good vibe in the lobby/bar area with other guests playing darts, with the hotel staff joining in and offering drinks. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Perfect stay at a perfect place”

Everything. The staff was most helpful, nothing was too much to ask. The location for Yellow Mountains is also perfect. Loved the cat at reception!:)

Very nice reception by the friendly, English speaking manager of the hostel, who gave us very helpful instructions. Cosy hall and good location to reach the South Gate of the Huangshan Mountains.

“Friendly and homely!”

Super helpful staff, showed us exactly where to go and how to climb the mountain. Also helped us get drivers to pick us up for the train station. Great coffee in the morning, lovely bakery close by and beautiful room.
