“Perfect for those looking for a quiet beach break”

Really enjoyed my stay here. The house is well located just a few streets from the beach but in a more residential area which was quiet and felt very safe but still easy walking distance to the surf, shops and restaurants. Also conveniently located near a bus stop that can bring you into Trujillo and a great cafe. I stayed in a private room which was comfortable and had shared toilet facilities with warm water. The shared kitchen is well equipped and has drinking water and meals can be enjoyed in several places including the dining room and on the rooftop. The rooftop has good views of the sunset and is great for a cuppa after a surf. There are laundry facilities for use for a very reasonable price and Angel is really helpful for any questions and can help arrange late check out (when available) for those taking a night bus. Also great to have a key to the main house so you can come and go as you like.

“Great hostel”

Really comfy, only stayed one night so didn’t use the facilities but they looked great. Seems like a great place to stay, especially if you’re looking for a quieter vibe than some of the surrounding hostels

Lovely, calm, quiet place to stay. We loved the terrance and kitchen, great space and a very welcoming and helpful host. We left our last hostel because it was a bit too noisy for working, had a much better experience here, super strong internet in all the common areas, comfortable space for working. The location is nice because it's a little ways from the beach, still only a 5 minute walk but you get to see a part of Huanchaco you might miss if you're just going from hostel to beach. Convenient also because the bus passes by so we could be dropped off right at the doorstep. Laundry available onsite, drinking water and fully stocked kitchen, even some gym equipment available. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, this is a great option.

It was a comfortable place to rest as I got over a cold. The beach is a five minute walk and there are grocery stores, restaurants and fruit stands within a couple of blocks. Very convenient, and Angel is a tremendous host. Very kind and helpful.

It's a perfect place for a longer stay. Room has shelvings, writing desk, is spacious. There is more than one chilling space in the hostel, laundry service, well equipped kitchen, terrace. The rooms are well soundproofed, so guests do not disturb each other. The manager is almost always available and gets all things done . It is a nice place to relax and spend some time in Huanchaco

Really friendly and exceptionally helpful landlord. Even when we were passing through Huanchaco after our initial stay we let us leave our bags at no extra cost. Great location near the beach and had a lovely rooftop to relax in the evening ! Would really commend if you are planning to come to Huanchaco.

Clean bedroom with comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and the shower had warm water. Big kitchen with plenty of appliances for making food. Big roof terrace with nice views and area to dry clothes. The host was also super friendly. Far enough away from the busy end of town to get a good night sleep but close enough to walk there easily.

Weird owner. Demanding more than the charge on booking. Spend hours trying to explain it is not my problem that booking charges him commission. He forced me to change room. Shower was cold, room was noisy, no proper bed sheets, no towel or toilet paper.

great host, he let us check in early and check out late as we were catching an overnight bus. he also spoke perfect English and helped with getting around. location is superb. there was hot water and the kitchen was well equipped and kept clean.
