Really a beautiful place! The host took us to the house and showed us around. Great hotpot and sauna, we really enjoyed it here. The path leading to the house is rougher than we expected. No problem with a 4x4, but a normal car with standard clearance could be a problem.

The facilities were great with a sauna and hot tub. We also cooked dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed.

The only thing that could have been better was some sort of Chromecast on the TV, though that was a very minor issue

The host was friendly and helpful. The house was clean, big, and got everything that needed. And also because the house has lot of glass window, we able to see northern lights in the house.

A total of five of our friends went there. First of all, I am very sorry for not following the instructions in the email and going to the reception area to contact us first. We drove directly to the apartment by ourselves, ignoring the dangers of the road conditions. Again, please be sure to arrive at the reception area with a black light sign to contact the landlord. The landlord received us very friendly and enthusiastically helped us. Everything in the apartment was better than expected. Everything was very comfortable. We also saw the Aurora outside the door, which was the first time we had lived in Iceland. Best apartment ever. If you are considering it then I highly recommend you book here, you won't regret it.

This property was stunning! The decor was beautiful, absolutely loved the sauna and the hot tub looked great although we didn’t get the chance to use it. What a fabulous location. And Mat was great, he made us feel very looked after

We definitely enjoyed the hot tub under the snowing sky in the middle of no where. You can't watch much on the tv which is fine for us, just push everyone to explore more of the nature.

It is incredible place. Great to stay in winter! Hot tub , sauna and aurora borealis are the magnets.

The view and the surrounding nature was fantastic. The house had everything we could wish for.

There is a nice Hot tube (wood heating, 3 hours for preparing) with a beautiful view to the snowy Katla. And a good sauna. Perfect house for us 6 persons.

“Amazing stay in an amazing place”

Great remote location with amazing views, super modern and nice apartment and very nice host. This might be the best overall place i have stayed for a very long time, it was a pity that we had to leave. Nothing beats the hot tub with that view at sunset.

Fantastic location and amazing property with fabulous views. Really friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay here and wished we had stayed longer!

“A night within the nature”

Well, it was like a dream, staying within the natural reserve is unique for me. The villa was well equipped and believe it or not, it has sauna in it. I wish i had more time to stay there. I definitely recommend this property to everyone
