“Great location, cosy bungalow, but the bathroom really neads adjustment and upgrading”

Communication was excellent! A few days before an email was sent with all the explanations on the house and how to get there. The key was in the door. We felt very welcome coming into the door, so clean, inviting, warm and all the appliances you wish for in a self catering home :D. Location perfect to see all of the highlights of Southern Iceland.

Great location. Spacious and clean cottage. Very cosy and incredibly well facilitated. We very much appreciated fully equipped kitchen (including oven, coffee machine, salt, pepper, herbs, even clear foil for snacks and beer glasses in the freezer ready to be used! 😊😉 So thoughtful of Rosa!), clothes drying rail and electric fireplace which makes it easier to dry outdoor clothes on the rainy days. And a wash machine, if you need it. As we all are used to recycling we also appreciated separate boxes for plastics, paper, glass etc. It was really like from home to home! ❤️ Rosa is a great host. Very thoughtful. We found her book of tips for hikes, food & drink, shopping, driving in Iceland very useful.

“Quiet space for relaxation or exploration”

The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The directions provided were really clear and it was an easy drive from the airport. It was a great base to explore the Golden Circle and beyond. The cottage was clean, spacious and possessed that rare thing in holiday accommodation - a kitchen that you can cook a proper meal in!

“Nice and comfortable accomodation in the middle of Golden Circle”

We are family of 5 and the cottage is spacy, well equipped, modern and very comfortable. We arrived very late, but it was not problem at all, everything was ready and prepared. We have received very useful and exhaustive load of information prior to our arrival, thus everything was very easy for us. I really appreciate an efford in waste sorting, everything was clear and super-useful. There is a number of basic foodstuff in the cottage, so you don't need to buy everything from a scretch. We also appreciated the dryer, very useful in October!

“Wonderful experience”

We had a great experience, and we felt like every need was provided for with care and attention to details. The facilities are very clean, sleek and homey. We had a wonderful stay, could easily cook dinner and do laundry, everything in the house gad instructions and explanations. We struggled a bit with the 7 different trash bins, but it was worth the great experience in the cottages.

“Super easy and comfy place to stay!”

The cabin had everything we needed during our stay, even for our toddler. Plenty of travel trips available! The cabin was nice and tidy, well equipped, plus had an abundant selection of spices for cooking.

“The best accommodations in the best location!”

The house is magical! The beds were so comfortable! The cottage was stocked with everything we could need and more! The playground on the property was so fun and we’ll stocked for our kids - and the basketball court was a nightly spot of fun! The rooms were spacious and so clean! It was five star experience and close to everything!

This was self-catering, but there were a lot of things there such as flour sugar, syrup coffee tea etc that we could use.

clean and very well equipped kitchen. fresh and tidy cottage and very comfortable beds. we had a very nice stay in the cottages. excellent location for visiting the golden circle and other places of interest. reasonable distance from the airport and Reykjavik.

Wow, just incredible. The accommodation was amazing. Rosa was lovely and very helpful giving us all the information we needed especially somewhere close to eat which would suit all the family. The scenery was amazing and it close to the golden circle. We would absolutely recommend and would love to go back. Thank you Rosa for helping us make the most incredible memories. And also to our lovely neighbours who knocked on our door one night to let us know the northern lights were showing and what a show it was! Thank you
