The place had a nice little garden. It was spacious with many amenities. The host was very friendly and helpful too.

It's rare to have a lovely stay and a lovely host. We had both. Exceptional hosts. I wanted to book again but the place was already booked. For a couple. Or solo traveller. Im glad I chose to stay there. It will be my go to place for future. Hopefully I was the type guest they'd love to host :) If you're from Durban. The cold takes some getting used to. They have a built in heater to compensate in the bedroom which helped. But the stay went without fault. They exceed their 9.2 rating.

Our hosts, Lorna and Phil, went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. They were very friendly and really went the extra mile to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The flat is spacious, neat and comfortably furnished and well equipped. We will most definitely recommend and use Urban lodge to any visitors looking for affordable accommodation in Howick.

The natural environment was lovely. The woodwork and finishing in and around the guesthouse were amazing. Lorna and Phil's reception and interactions were really wonderful. The fact that everything guests require in a kitchen and bedroom was at hand. We were even informed about items we left behind which we fortunately could recover. Lorna could guide us through the essential attractions in Howick which were highly appreciated.

Lorna & Phil are very warm, welcoming and friendly. They are attentive and constantly checking in to see if there are additional needs of their guests. The accomodation was clean, comfortable and felt like 'home'. Great location with easy access to shops, town centre and the freeway.

Attention to detail in the little things, premium coffee, fresh milk and muffins ready for us. Clean and tidy rooms and bathroom. Choice of shower or bath. A quiet environment yet close to the highway enabling us to reach our various destinations quickly and easily. Lastly the hosts warm response towards accommodating an early arrival so that we could change inoe our required attire.
