This traditional family-run property is in the mountain village of Høvringen, next to Rondane National Park. It provides home-cooked Norwegian cuisine and a bookable sauna. Parking is free. Local-style fishing gear can be borrowed for free, and bicycles are available for rent. Hotel Putten Seter can pick up guests arriving in Otta, which is about 30 minutes’ drive away and has bus and train connections to and from Oslo and other larger Norwegian cities.

Putten Setter is located at "the top" of mountains and you will experience amazing views from nearby hills. Cottage is overall clean, nice and equipped (however some older kitchen equipment could be maybe replaced). But, I really recommend this place and would like to come back some day.
