The staff was incredible and helped me to set up many things regarding my cycle across Norway, e.g. dry my wet gear and remove sand from my bicycle. The breakfast was superb, as well!

Excellent food! Dinner was absolutely perfect,including the service . About 21km away from the main road,driving and feeling like there is nothing around us except the beautiful nature but then we reached this cosy , interesting hotel ! Friendly staff, especially during dinner.

Location, cleanliness, staff and parking (right outside my room!) were all good. Not exceptional, but good.

The beds were amazing. Lots of space to socialize. The staff was top notch.

It is a modern place with a cozy "fjellstue" atmosphere. It was almost empty at our visit but it was still warm and cozy and the food was lovely. We ate next to the fire which had this smell that fires only high in the mountains have. The owner was there himself and was both charming, helpful and informative and you could tell he took a keen interest in his hotel. We got upgraded to an apartment with a small kitchenet etc. I'm not a clean freak but this place showed me that there is clean and then there is sparkling. If I hadn't know better I would have guessed the room and everything in it had just come out of the packaging. The glasses/plates/forks etc. wasn't just clean they were spotless and so was the inside of the fridge (I wish mine looked like this). The breakfast buffet was plentiful even if we were less than 10 guests and everything was topped up constantly. Everything was fresh/warm etc. as applicable and the staff was charming and helpful and had time for my endless questions about history/where they come from/how it is to live in the mountains etc. All answered and explained with a smile. An absolutely lovely place and again for once the top mark for cleanliness is simply not adequate for this place.

Everything, 10 out of 10 . Best i liked position and personal . The best value money=quality . I recommend it 100% for vacation in hovden , you would like it either . Interior , personal , position , views , aeverything 10 out of 10 .

Beautiful location, comfortable and well equipped rooms. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Booked in to the restaurant at last minute and had the most fantastic venison meal. Would thoroughly recommend 👌.
