“Hout bay discovery !”

Everything was great overall, mattress is ok contrary to what many comments say. It’s a soft mattress but it’s normal for a memory foam. Water pressure is good in the shower, good equipment.

Absolute nightmare.. Dirtiest place I've ever seen, bed covers and pillows are yellow (should be white) Bed has collapsed so you literally roll into the middle of it.. Ants everywhere.. mould in the shower.. sofa is disgusting.. towels are old and nasty..just to mention a few things.. Then there is: Huge dogs that bark outside your window and that almost bit my girlfriend.. You have to work around her times and what suits her.. She won't refund any money so hence we continued to stay there. We accidentally didn't check out on time (got the days confused which is an honest mistake) So she locked us out and we had to pay her to get our belongings back. Wifi is not great at all, need to stand by the door to have a semi decent connection. Overall worst experience I've ever had. Wouldn't let my dog stay there.

The actual accommodation was clean and comfortable. Access both by the path way into the apartment, and moving in the place was made difficult by an uneven, insecure rough pathway (photo available), and a high step into and out of the kitchen area. The advertised facilities mentioned a pool, which there is indeed. But, in a PRIVATE AREA, regularly policed by beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback hounds, into which we area we were never invited (and made no special request to swim). I suggest that handicapped would-be guests be warned of these hazards before booking.

Everything, the peace and quiet was absolutely amazing, didn't leave the bed at all

Very easy to find and quite near the shopping areas … 2 min drive to shops and restaurants. Nicole us a great host and can’t do enough for one to maximise the experience.
