Snooze in Hout Bay Self Catering is a unique artistic house nestled on the slopes of Constantiaberg and within 1 km from the scenic Chapman's Peak Drive. The guesthouse boasts spacious and luxurious rooms with views of the Hout Bay valley and the mountains. Glass doors open up onto a private garden with BBQ facilities. Each room has a modern kitchenette, flat-screen TV and an open-plan bathroom with a bath. The rooms are heated and cooled naturally using an Eco-friendly, green design. At Snooze you will find private off-street parking and free WiFi. The property has limited back up power in the form of an inverter that serves all lights and plug points. The guest house is a 5-minute drive from the beach and 3 km away from Hout Bay Harbour. Cape Town International Airport can be reached within 40 minutes by car.

“Perfect stay in Hout Bay”
Perfect place for a stay in Hout Bay. Away from the crazy crowds. Uber was quick and easy from Snooze to anywhere we needed to go. Owner is outstanding. Kind, attentive and friendly. The room is perfect. The views from the patio are awesome and it's wonderful to be able to sit outside with a beautiful pond. . Facilities in the kitchen are more than adequate. Can highly recommend. Thank you Jens!

We were welcomed by Jens, the owner of the house, right upon arrival. The house is absolutely stunning — an example of outstanding architecture, perfectly functional in every detail. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped, including adjustable beds, superb mattresses, and mosquito plug-in repellents. We immediately felt at home. Yes, is worth it every dollar spent on this Cape Town gem!

“Oustandingly good”
Under the care of the owner Jens. Our satay was outstandingly good. Personal attention to detail was excellent . The location of snooze away from the bustle provides peace and tranquility. In hospitality it is often the little things that make good service into outstanding service .Ewe asked to borrow a vase for some Anniversary flowers . We were given another bunch and a bottle of wine also.. Truly remarkable service Many Thanks Bernard Lee (Former chairman of the British institute of innkeeping) well done the snooze team.

“Fantastic!”
The accommodation is located in an elevated, quiet neighbourhood and offers beautiful views. The room is spacious, comfortable and modern, with artistic décor. A definite plus is the terrace with a lovely little pond. However, the greatest credit goes to the host, Jens. He gave us a very warm welcome: a handwritten card to welcome us, a bottle of wine and fresh fruit! He is also always ready to help you in word and deed. We have never had such a caring host before. Bravo!
