A Wonderful Stay at On the Beach Hout Bay I had a great stay at On the Beach Hout Bay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The appartment was well-appointed, with plenty of space to relax. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having a view of the ocean right from my window was a real highlight. The bed was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and inviting. The beachfront location is fantastic – perfect for morning walks along the shore or enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Hout Bay. Restaurants, cafes, and local attractions are all within easy reach, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Our host was warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. They were happy to provide tips on local activities and dining options, which made my visit even more enjoyable. The property offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. While it’s not a full-service hotel with extensive amenities, the combination of comfort, location, and friendly service more than makes up for it. On the Beach Hout Bay is a lovely spot for anyone looking to unwind by the sea. With its fantastic location, comfortable rooms, and welcoming staff, it’s a great choice for a relaxing getaway.

The host was very helpful for any queries, explained everthing and nothing was too much trouble. The location was amazing, right on the front, great views and close to all amenities. Underground secure parking was also great to have.

The apartment was big enough and I appreciated the welcome wine, milk, coffee and sugar to use before I could buy my own. There was sufficient supply of toilet paper. The staff was helpful, there was a time I had lost my key and Michelle was there within minutes to open for me. The stay was beautiful. I would like to go back there with my kids. It is child friendly. And Hout Bay in general is a beautiful place.

The location was incredible, as the name suggests, right on the beach. There were a number of great restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. The fittings were in immaculate condition and there was great information at hand about the property and surrounds. The views from the property were sublime and the bed was super comfortable.

Our host Michelle provided a very helpful and ongoing service, meeting us as arranged with flexibility to complete a handover with clear directions to the property. Very spacious, clean and homely accomodation with access to beach chairs and towels allowing us to make the most of the local beach. Property provided a reliable back up power source during the current adhoc country imposed power shedding supporting me with my CPAP breathing machine needed at night .
