An excellent breakfast was served on a private balcony with views of the sea and mountains. Hosts went out of their way to make you feel welcome, plus the extra mile when I needed some help. Room was fabulous.

What a beautiful property with gorgeous gardens. Sue and Martin were relaxing hosts, providing a delicious breakfast and helpful guidance as to our itinerary. It was a special way to start our holiday in South Africa. Lots of room to unwind . Attentive hosts and our kitchenette , living room , bathroom and bedroom were cleaned every day.

We had a large, nicely furnished room that opened onto a terrace overlooking the garden. Breakfast was served on the terrace and was delicious with healthy options. The garden is stunning and we loved sitting outside in the evening. Martin and Sue were very knowledgeable about the local area and their tips enhanced our stay. They were particularly kind in helping us arrange a doctors appointment when one was needed.

Where to start, everything about this little hideaway was magical! The location is secluded and quiet, with a spectacular view. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is scrumptious. The bed is comfy. The water pressure in the shower is just perfect. Everything is super clean. And wait until you discover the secret kitchen in your room!

The property is in a stunning location surrounded by trees on a hill overlooking Hout Bay. Our room was very spacious and delightfully furnished, complete with a small integrated kitchen. Outside there is a huge balcony with dining furniture and loungers where you can sit and relax in a lovely, peaceful setting. Our hosts Sue and Martin were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay there again

“Hidden gem in an oasis of piece and hospitality”

Sue and Martin are hospitable and warm-hearted people. They do their utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible and make you feel at home. The property is nicely located in a wooded and safe area without through traffic. The house itself is tastfully decorated. Our room and the adjacent bathroom were very big. The room also included a built-in pantry (behind closable doors), with coffee and tea facilities, a small refrigerator and a micro wave. The extensive and tasty breakfast was served outside on the balcony. Parking possibilities in the garage or on the street in front (also very safe). Close to restaurants and shops in the center of Hout Bay and other locations such as Camps Bay, Chapman's peak and Capetown center and water front.
