We really appreciated the beauty of the place, the warm welcome with tips on the city and the island, and the fact that we were alone in the property. It's part of a wonderful, supportive organization that promotes local craftsmanship. Everything was truly perfect. Don't be put off by the other reviews: the place was easy to find and very well located :)

“very enjoyable if you like peace and quiet”
Location was good for me, close to a bank, shop, coffee shops, taxi stand, close enough to walk up to the castle and the museum. The house itself very big , authentic djerban I assume, nice courtyard with furniture.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Every detail is beautifully kept in its original essence. The kind host that welcomed us explained with great passion the intention of the association which is to promote the culture of the island, great job! Our room and the property in general was one of the most stunning we have ever stayed in anywhere in the world and such amazing value, to boot!!! The owner was so incredibly helpful and the restoration job she had overseen was nothing short of first class!!! Perfect location in the heart of Houmt Souk too!!! This property really does have to be seen to be believed and comes highly, highly recommended!!!

This is a stunning traditional house. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. Wiem speaks good English. She is very friendly and helpful. It is centrally located within walking distance to most sites in Houmt Souk. The bed and pillow are comfortable. The hot shower has good flow. There is a basic kitchen also available.

This is the best place to choose for people who love to travel without stay close in the hotel. Wiem is a great owner that is always ready to give you tips and help. We have done some experiences with their cultural association named Djerba Insolite and we can say now to have lived days that we can remember within best of our life...shukran!!! 🥰

“Very cute room”
The room is huge, way bigger than we expected. It is comfortable, quiet, and well decorated. We loved the courtyard! I would recommend adding some extra chairs for sunbathing, etc.
