“Spectacular hotel! Lot's of fun things to do for the whole family”
We booked a room for 5 and the room had only two queen size beds. We were provided a travel bed but 2 beds clearly don't fit 5 people

“Family visit”
Generations of my wife’s family had stayed at the Homestead and we were keen to see it for ourselves. It did not disappoint. The setting is beautiful and the resort has benefited from a recent refurbishment. Our room in the tower was comfortable and had everything we needed. The view over the Allegheny Mountain Mountains was impressive. Even for non-golfers there was plenty to do and we enjoyed tasting the fare in the various restaurants

“Expensive way to spend an average night.”
Pool area and grounds were well maintained. Indoor areas were not as nicely maintained. Staff was nice.

“The Resort was very nice. The people at The Old Course golf shop, etc., couldn’t have been nicer!”
I had the best room! I was in the South Wing and had one of the garden rooms with French doors that opened to small patio. It was delightful.

“50 th anniversary stay was OK - I should have gone straight to The Homestead insread of Bookings.com”
The staff was exceptionally kind and courteous. the room was fine. Se more below regarding food and the military discount lost.
