“Villa is a bit of a stretch maybe...”

We came to this cabin on the way home because of the hot tub. Unfortunately that was in dire conditions. After cleaning out 1 full bucket of half-burnt logs and 1 full bucket of ash with almost our bare hands for a good hour, we tried to get the fire going with the provided firewood. Turns out it was too wet to burn and the chimney would not pull either. After 3 unsuccessful tries and another hour we had to give up. Every time we would get the fire burning strong enough, the smoke was only seeping out the door and it would eventually die out. It was an icy cold tub only. At least we didn't miss the thermometer that should have been around to make sure the palju reaches the right temperature. (What I want to say: there was no thermometer.) We did miss a chopping block for the firewood though. When we arrived there was an axe lying sideways (openly) on the steps of the stairs and we had to chop the wood on the stairs as the previous visitors had clearly done too. Also the outside area including terrace was very dirty (full of ash everywhere). Customer support via WhatsApp seemed LLM operated and not in a good way. Initially the Wifi didn't work, because the operator hadn't payed their bill. Thankfully they fixed that quickly at least. The cabin itself is small and decently equipped and was surface level clean. I would not maybe want to sleep on the sofa bed, as it has seen better days. A sharp kitchen knife would have been cool too. Overall really stressfull and lots of cleaning for nothing. Seems missmanaged. Only come here if you need a bed for the night, don't bring kids or expectations. To be fair, we booked very spontaneously on the same morning. After not receiving an answer to our message, we even called in to know if it would be possible to get firewood for the palju and the answer was yes of course no problem. Why did you not inform us then that the palju was broken? Why do you bring us wet wood instead? We were quite upset.
