The hotel was closed on arrival except for reception person we were put into apartment block which was immaculate. But there was no evening meals or breakfast available so we went out to eat.

“Idyllic countryside location, comfortable bed and friendly staff.”
The hotel is a bit tagged away and to get there one has to pass through an area of businesses with warehouses but once approaching the actual hotel one feels positively surprised. The description of a 'Tudor style Manor House' is not far off. It has a big entrance hall, which leads to the reception, the restaurant/breakfast room is to your left. The room I stayed in was on the first floor and was spacious with an en-suite bathroom with shower. Bed was very cozy and the breakfast in the morning was good. Staff very attentive and friendly.
