Overview
Located by Europe’s deepest lake, Hornindalsvatnet, this family-run hotel offers traditional Norwegian food and brightly decorated guest rooms. WiFi is free in public areas. A seating area, flat-screen TV with satellite channels and private bathroom with shower are featured in all the modern rooms at Havila Hotel Raftevold. Most have a balcony, and some offer views of the lake or surrounding mountains. The large, furnished garden backs on to the mountainside. During summer, guest can eat outside and enjoy the nature. Situated in the scenic area of Grodås, Havila Hotel Raftevold is 25 minutes' drive from the UNESCO-listed Geiranger Fjord. The Briksdal Glacier is a 1-hour drive from the hotel.

Pleasant place on the shore of the deepest lake in Europe. Friendly staff. Great dinner with local ingredients. We took a room with a lake view and a balcony, good views of the lake. The weather was still cool, but in summer the hotel's outdoor terrace will certainly attract customers to stay. The bravest went swimming in the crystal clear water. Would love to come here again!

Price was good (including breakfast) as compared to other hotels in this region during peak season like July. Breakfast and the view was amazing. Fuelling station and grocery store is in front of the hotel.

Wonderful place! The hotel is located in a very quiet village at the coast of the deepest lake in Europe – Hornindalsvatnet! The rooms were clean, the beds were very soft and comfortable, with warm blankets as it gets quite cold during the night. The rooms had great views towards the lake and because of that we got to (kind of) see the Northern lights! The hotel also has a nice garden, where you can relax at the sight of the beautiful Norwegian nature. For convenience there is also a supermarket close by. We had a wonderful time there and we’re looking forward to coming back again someday!

Very noce and cosy. Clean. Friendly staff. We were with a dog - perfect stay with a dog also:) view from balcpny with a deepest lake in Europe was amazing. Also we can swim in a lake.
