Overview
Situated just 500 metres from Lipno Dam and offering a private grassy beach on the Vltava banks, Penzion Tomy Pihlov also houses a restaurant serving Czech cuisine and a garden terrace perfect for outdoor dining. The Penzion also provides a children’s playground and a volleyball court. There is a game room equipped with a ping-pong table, football table and darts. Guests can rent a bicycles or scooters and enjoy the lush surroundings. Rooms at the Tomy Pihlov are cheerfully decorated and well-lit. There is a common seating area with a TV, and bar in the lobby. Summer cinema and bowling can be found in Horní Planá, while horseback riding can be enjoyed 400 metres from the property. During the winter, guest can order ski passes on site and enjoy skiing on Kramolín and Hochficht that are about 30 km away. Bob sled rides are available in Lipno, 25 km from the Penzion Pihlov. The Pihlov bus stop is right next to the guest house, while the train station in Horní Planá is 2 km away.

Friendly and helpful staff. The landlady was exceptionally accommodating and kind. The guesthouse is family and pet friendly and offers a range of activities on their premises. Good selection of meals, wonderful surroundings. Dekujeme

The staff was amazing - they cared so much, always tried to help and to do their best for us. Also they prepare really nice food for quite small price. There are many facilities for kids which is also a good bonus. And the beach is not far, just 5 min by car.

It was very loud during the night. Everything was very poor maintained and the room had a chemical smell. When we opened the window in the evening the cigarette smoke from people in the garden came inside. One of the employees was hammered at night, which made us very uncomfortable. There also where no curtains to so what block the light from outside. No mirror in the room either.
