We had a fantastic stay. The place is quiet, private and beautiful. The room was big, as was the bed, which was comfy, not too soft. It had a balcony, big windows, a beautiful view of a small valley. It was overall amazingly quiet and we had our privacy. There was a little communal kitchen that we were able to use, which was very useful. The breakfast was perfect and the owners were friendly and flexible. We arrived quite late and they were happy to wait for us.

“Our first Forest Farm stay”

A Warm welcome , a cosy apartment with beautiful views a good size room with sofa , the bathroom is quite small. The kitchenette is a communal area not in the room as I first thought , but this was ok. We enjoyed the balcony and a short walk in the evening. The host served a lovely breakfast , the check out is a little early a 10am but overall a comfortable and peacful stay.

Excellent location to vist the Black Forest. Friendly owner. Very clean apartment with good Internet en good facilities. The ratio price-quality is excellent.

the cootage is middle of the hills, quiet and comfortable. The only sound you hear at dark are of the cow bells, trains and the running stream. The view from the room was beautiful and dreamy. The staff were very kind and offered us bread on the first morning.

This beautiful little valley is surrounded by forest and gives you an istant feeling of calm and relaxation. A picturesque scene as one would expect when going on holiday in the Black Forest.

“Paradise ❤️”

Absolute paradise.. the apartment was outstanding. The views were absolutely beautiful out the window I could have sat looking out the window for hours. A lovely breakfast as well. And in a tiny hamlet where you can stroll and take in the views from every angle.

The accommodation is located right in the heart of the Black Forest in a charming old wooden house far from the pretentiousness of modern hotels. It’s quiet, authentic, and surrounded by nature. We loved hearing the sound of cowbells and even witness a couple of falling stars! Our lovely host prepared breakfast in a shared kitchen that was fully equipped with everything you could need. Despite the hosts’ limited English, communication was smooth, friendly, and always helpful. Just a small tip: as of August 2025 although we booked via Booking.com, we had to pay in cash at the end of our stay. So either double-check with the host in advance or bring some cash just in case.

The views were stunning and it was so peaceful. The apartment was really spacious.

Fantastic place in a quite location with a fantastic host. Breakfast was lovely with a warm welcome every day. Free on site parking without hassle. Smart TV and good free WIFI which helps when language is not good (our side). Lovely spacious room with balcony and great views. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

“Absolutely Beautiful Location and Beautiful Host.”

This bed and breakfast is located in a beautiful valley with easy access to the wonders of the Schwarzwald, including the Open Air Museum at Gutach & interesting Schiltach town. The room was very clean, the balcony overlooked a wonderful view, the breakfast was plentiful and the host was so friendly and a wonderful person. We loved our stay and hope to return for a longer stay. Thank you for a marvellous stay.

“Beautiful scenic place for holidays”

Everything was really nice. The location was very beautiful surrounded by green fields and pastures and you could see the beautiful view from the balcony. The owner was very kind and the breakfast was very good and plentiful. The kitchen was fully equipped to make quick meals by oneself or to store stuff in the refrigerator.

Beautiful property in a wonderful location. Owner was very helpful and friendly and spoke very good English (my German almost non-existent!). Very comfortable room and bed, bathroom lovely, loved the balcony and sat for hours listening to the gentle cow bells. Breakfast was great and just what we needed.
