We stayed for one night at Hostal Rural La Fuente Santa during our road trip and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. Genuine hospitality like this is becoming increasingly rare and really made a difference. The room was beautiful, with a charming rustic style while still offering all the comfort we could wish for. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows were excellent, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the shower had fantastic water pressure. We were also travelling with our two dogs, and it was wonderful to find such a genuinely pet-friendly place. Our furry family members were made to feel just as welcome as we were. We had dinner in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and authentic. Comfortable accommodation, excellent food, outstanding hospitality, and a warm welcome for dogs — everything came together to make this a fantastic stop on our journey. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone travelling through the area. Thank you for such a lovely stay! 🐾🐾😊

“Great location and good facilities for a stopover when driving to the ferry.”
It’s a great location for a stopover to the ferry in Bilbao.Very easy to get to and we had a good meal in the evening with a good tostada breakfast in the morning. Great parking on site too.

Very friendly staff who also loved our very friendly dog. Food was good and we were able to bring our breakfast forward 30 minutes from the standard time as we had a ferry to get from Santander. Great walking area in the campo behind the hostal for the dog. So all in all great for dog owners. Easy parking facilities as well which is useful for loading and unloading.

“It was very good and ideal for those who gave dogs.”
It was ideal for our dog as there were great walks literally across from the hotel. Also due to the time we needed to leave to get a ferry from Santander they were very accommodating in bringing our breakfast time forward.
