Overview
Jaguar Reef Lodge & Spa is located right on Belize’s beautiful coral reef in Hopkins. It offers quick beach access, plus 2 outdoor swimming pools and an on-site restaurant. The bungalows at this beautiful resort are totally air-conditioned and come equipped with a private balcony with excellent sea views. The spacious suites have a seating area with a sofa. The property's restaurant serves international-style cuisine, and guests also enjoy a poolside “swim-up” bar. Activities like snorkelling, diving, fishing and biking can be arranged on-site, with Hopkins Beach just 100 metres away. The property’s Butterflies Spa also offers a variety of relaxing treatments. Transportation to Belize City and the town of Dangriga can be arranged for an extra fee. Philip SW Goldson International Airport is 180 km away.

“Horrible.”
Not enough staff. Chaos constantly. Staff there rude. Toilets closed all week. Takes more than an hour for food to come. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

“Beautiful property and kind staff”

“perfect family getaway”
The location was fantastic. The staff were very very friendly and helpful, even planning easter events and getting the kids involved. Beach was clean, everything well maintained. Decor was fantastic, people so friendly. pools were nice. really enjoyed our stay and would stay again in a minute!

“Amazing spring break with the family!”
The villa was beautiful. The back had a mini pool and sitting area which was lovely. The lodge itself was great. The landscaping was well maintained, the beach was gorgeous and clean. We loved the complementary use of the bikes, paddle boards and kayaks. The staff was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, kind and professional. We would definitely come back and also stay at the sister resort at Sleeping Giant.

Hotel staff were all very friendly. Hotel and grounds were meticulously clean. The food at the restaurant was wonderful (particularly the breakfasts!). Great location in near a very cute town with extremely friendly local residents and near a dive shop. Loved the over-the-water ceviche restaurant!

“Peaceful, relaxing, clean”
The grounds were immaculate, the condo is very big, the front balcony was huge with the view of the ocean and dock, very quiet and peaceful, everything was very clean.

The facilities are excellent. The place is very quiet and relaxing. The room has good space and are well provided with refrigerator, coffee maker and water dispenser.

“wonderful location and comfortable room with pool, disappointingly marred by a lack of service and attention to detail.”
the room was beautiful, bed comfortable, drinking water in the room copious, and best of all the private plunge pool was fantastic.
