“Convenient hotel for crossing the border with Georgia.”
The hotel is easy to find on the promenade overlooking the Black Sea. It is easy to get a taxi from across the road to the border with Georgia. Lovely terrace on the top floor where you can have breakfast. The room was clean.

“Great place to stay if you are crossing the border”
They have updated the rooms, the current pictures do not do them justice. Stayed in 12 hotels across Turkey, and this was the cleanest and most luxurious. Don’t try and cross the border via taxi in the evening; stay here and take a Dolmus the next morning. You’ll be more relaxed and save money.

Hotel looks like it's been recently refurbished and there was some work going on when I was there. My room was on the top floor ( 7th), there was a lift to 6th floor and then steps to 7th. I had an amazing view of the ocean and a balcony, more than I was expecting so not sure if it was an upgrade. Modern bathroom, small fridge and kettle. Breakfast starts at 7.30 and was a good typical Turkish breakfast.

“Ok for an overnight stay, with good breakfast served and a good location.”
Friendly and helpful staff. Not all speak English though. Beds are comfortable. Seaview is great. Good working airconditioner Hotel is good located. Breakfast is good, the lentil soup is great!

“Hopa is well worth a stopover + this hotel is great value.”
The room is very warm with central heating (this is a winter stay so warm is good!). The breakfast is buffet style + includes cereals + cakes. Very good location.Everywhere is walkable.Three grocery chain stores behind the hotel.Shuttle to border departs from about 50 yards away.Staff are helpful.

“A good hotel going to the border”
The rooms are ok for one night. Irbid a typical bus hotel. Best is the roof top hotel though.
