The apartment was beautiful and well Equipped. The bed was very comfy. There is a lovely little balcony outside the kitchen overlooking an inner courtyard. A lovely place for breakfast. The owners made us feel very welcome. Hoorn is a lovely small town, with a harbour regularly visited by tall ships. Would really recommend the apartment.

Magnificent property with a truly exceptional design and feel. The host was friendly and helpful. He thought about everything; the apartment was very well equipped with lots of attention to detail in every corner of the house. This is a special place that we will be happy to stay at again, on our next visit to Hoorn.

The location was great, very central to all amenities, there was a vast selection of restaurants depending on your food choice and pocket. I had the pleasure of dining in a Michelin recommended restaurant for my birthday it was excellent. There are also some great fish, and butchers as well as excellent cheeses shops, which we availed off, as the kitchen in our accommodation was very well furnished for an enthusiastic cook. We did lots of walking, hired a tandem and did some sight seeing by bike, saw interesting wild life-herons seem to be particularly visible in and around Hoorn. We parked our car in an underground car park recommended by our host-extremely secure and very reasonable priced. Overall, we had a very relaxing week and would certainly recommend the accommodation and the city to others.

Such a beatiful old house! The interior is very interesting and spacious, we loved it! Location is perfect, in the center of Hoorn and still it is quiet inside. Also, thank you for the welcome tour, we were fascinated by getting to know the house while beautiful music was on. We really recommend the place!

Location was great. Overall venue was really great. Different spaces in the house was great. Loved the big windows looking out on the street. And then the bedroom window looking out on the green space. Very comfortable bed.

“Spacious elegance in the heart of Hoorn”

It was an exceptional stay. First the sheer size of the place. Second, the amazing antiques and furniture, yet it still felt very cosy. There was classical music playing on TV as we walked in and that totally suited the atmosphere. There were very thoughtful touches like toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathroom and dressing gowns. It's right in the heart of Hoorn yet very quiet. And the bed was the comfiest I have ever slept in. We would have stayed longer if we could. We were here on a beer tour following Tim Skelton's Beer in the Netherlands and this was a wonderful stop!
