Rita and Piet were wonderful hosts and their space couldn't have been more perfect - super cozy and centrally located. Everything was clean and offered us everything we needed to be comfortable during our bike tour. Would highly recommend this space to anyone passing through Hoorn.

“A perfect stay at the end of a long day cycling touring. ‘Top’. !!”
This is a traditional Dutch town house in a quiet street. Very close walking distance to many cafes and bars as well as useful shops. The inside of the house was full of character and I was able to store my touring cycle safely and securely in the hallway. On arrival I was met by my lovely host who showed me around. I was expecting a shared bathroom as advertised but found that on this occasion I had a lovely large bathroom to my self. The bathroom wasn’t en-suite but it made no difference to me. My host showed me a small kitchenette area outside of my bedroom door where he had kindly left a chilled beer, a small bottle of wine and a carton of milk for making tea etc in the fridge. Kettle,microwave, tea coffee sugar cups etc all supplied. I had a full size comfortable bed with a tv and towels for the bathroom. There was also a small shared balcony for guests to use which had a table and chairs and I spent the last of the evening sipping my beer, reading and watching the sun go down. A perfect ending to a long day in my saddle. I was given a voucher to visit a local cafe for a continental breakfast the next morning where there was plenty to eat and drink prior to the next leg of my cycle tour.

Everything! Perfect location, charming house with a nice outside terrace with afternoon sun. Hosts even prepared a small surprise to celebrate my partner's birthday without extra costs :) Could not recommend it more!
