Within 10 minutes, you may walk to Po Lin Monastery, Ngong Ping Piazza and Tian Tan Buddha. Hong Kong International Airport is 7 km away, about a 45-minute taxi ride. Both individual rooms and dormitory beds are provided. There is a shared kitchen at the property.

“Good place to stay if you’re at Lantau mainly to hike.”
Very nice bus terminal and hiking trail to Peak. Easy to hop onto a bus to go other trails and places. Really peaceful surroundings in the morning.

“DIY-spirit for budget trips :)”
DIY-spirit is strong here, if you are picky or used to only high class hotels, this might not be the place for you.. But for us it worked well and the location is beautiful, no doubt and stuff was very kind and polite, even when we were a little lost about everything.

“Hostel with Basic Amenity - Good for Sunrise”
Basically the location. Being the only accommodation in Ngong Ping, you could reach Lautau Peak literally in less than an hour (if you are fit enough), so definitely it is the best place for sunrise. Besides, it is far from all hustle and bustle so you could certainly enjoy a fair bit of tranquility.
