The hotel has a very nice communal space vibe. The manager/owner Patricia was really sweet and welcoming. Her local food-drink place recommendations were really amazing. The rooftop is worth it alone.

“Amazing hostel with well designed bedrooms and perfect location”

The female dormitory is great, it’s a very well designed room at it felt like I had enough personal space. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to be able to have a large window directly at the bed. The windows are very soundproof so you don’t hear the busy street outside which is really great. Location was perfect, lots of things to do and great places to eat in walking distance. The MRT Station is also very close.

Loved the family room and ensuite bathroom. Patricia the host was very friendly and showed me the rooftop and gave me some options on where to go. Rooftop area was nice, the view from the top was great. Free beers in the fridge. A cool vintage aesthetic. Seemed to be a quieter area.

One of the best stays I've had recently. If you're going to sleep in a women only dorm save your luggage space and don't bring shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioner - it's already here with a hair dryer. I'm 178cm and I didn't have problems when it comes to bed accommodating me. Lockers under the beds are enormous. I hid my registered luggage and I swear there was enough space that I could hid myself as well. Bathrooms are clean and earplugs are provided. There's a really nice space on the rooftop While the location isn't exactly central there're bus stops where you can catch bus to the airport located 10 minutes walking distance from the hostel, metro staton is like 6-8 minutes walking from the hostel. You can find a lot of cha chaan teng and dim sum restaurants nearby. The owners are really helpful whether it comes to recommending food spots nearby or letting you in after you forgot your card

told the manager i had a knee surgery and would prefer lower bed. she still gave me an upper bed though there is a lower bed vacant and available.

I was well informed before the trip, the host is well organised and helpful. The hostel located at central Kowloon, very convenient to travel, eat and shop around.

Small hostel in kowloon. Few facilities in hostel itself but room was well equipped with bathroom but small. Location was good with supermarket opposite and good access to public transport.

I really enjoyed staying here - the hosts have amazing design skills and you can tell it when you are staying as everything little thing is thought through to make the most of the sometimes small spaces. Really stylish and interesting so for me, it was fantastic! Also really interesting location outside of the normal tourist area so I got to see a new side of HK. Very convenient for bus and metro routes.

Really helpful owner! Had some events in the evenings (which I unfortunately didn't end up joining)

Great location in the center of Sham Shui Po and 10mins walk from the nearest MTR line. Kind staff and nice concert events with discounts for residents. Beautiful rooftop and nicely decorated common areas.

“Clean and Comfortable, With Room for Improvement”

We stayed in one of the private rooms, which was spotless and came with a spacious bathroom. The room itself was small, as expected, so it might be a bit tight if you have more than one large suitcase. Check-in and communication via WhatsApp were smooth and very responsive. The staff also kindly allowed us to store our luggage in the common area before check-in and after check-out.

“Fantastic HK Hideaway”

Wontonmeen is a perfect stay in Hong Kong. Arty but unpretentious and the room was small but perfectly formed, with a great bathroom and comfy bed. The common room is a lovely place to cook and hang with a secret speakeasy in the basement that they host cool events and jazz. Also loads of instruments laying around which is great if you can play and something I love on a trip. There's also a cool rooftop space as well. The neighbourhood is laid back and local with loads of excellent coffee shops and food and a short walk to the mtr and Sham Po markets. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Hong Kong

“Nice place in Hong Kong”

The female only room was spotless, with comfortable beds and lots of place to put your suitcases. I loved having access to a good hairdryer and Dyson styler. There is a little fridge where I could leave a coffee for the mornings and enjoy a complementary beer. The staff were responsive and helpful.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming! They host and invited us to join events and help coordinate dinner/meet ups! The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated all the facilities (water station, extra sink/mirror, hang out space, etc.) Overall it was a great stay!
