“Misleading description of the hostel”

The room description is totally inacurate. Our room has about 100 sq.ft. (2.5 m x 3.2 m including the shower) and not 215 sq.ft. as advertised. The private "balcony" would suffice for a smoke, but cannot be used. There is a sticker on the glass "don't open". It does not have a full private bathroom. There is a private shower, but the toilet is a public one on the end of the hall. In the hundreds of bookings, which I made with booking.com, we never encountered an offer, which was so untrue. If we had known the real situation, we would not have stayed there, but it was a non-refundable booking and we payed before entering. It was a real scam - a hostel priced like a hotel. Booking should take it offline until a realistic description is given.

Having a private shower was nice, however, the hot water is off between 11pm to 8am, meaning either cold shower or no shower before an early morning departure, check-in was almost easy, except that they sent me the wrong code for the front door and I had to wait for half an hour for a building resident to let me in

You get what you pay for. Terrible experience. First time in a hostel. But talking to people who a very experience in this living accomodation. !. Who was local Chinese from Shanghai was in tears. 2. An Autralian - gave up after one hour. Booked somehwere else. There is no one to help you here at all. I knormally stay in realtively nice hotels. I thought I would give it a try. The staff a super rude.The only help you get is from local kind people who are willing to help you. I cannot explain in words. How bad this plce is. But again. I guess you get what you pay for. It's cheap- there is a reason reson for this I have travelled all over the world and I can say- (even though this my first experience travlling like this). I would look for a different place. They are rude, unhelpful. I am a International teacher who normally stays in hotels. I thought it might be an interesting experience to meet new people. Try something new. But seriously. This place is absolutely shit. When a girl from Mailand Shanghai - doesn't understand and is crying her eyes out. You must realise this place has no help systems and really don't care. Honestly-Hong Kong is a great place. I chose just lose my money and check into somewhere new. This is 5th world service- at best- stay clear.

fantastic area for walking or activities, easy & safe transports around places, beautiful view, inexpensive good for value with facilities, something needs to share. Eating around moderate price....

Good Location, clean, staff is nice

Images show a different room than actual. The bed was too small compared to the images. Toilet gates were broken. The cleaning lady never cleaned the room and didn't even change the sheets.

The shower was really good, check in/out was easy and the location was great!

Clean, comfortable. Subway connection. I would recommend for sure as solo traveler. Good value for money for Hong Kong.
