The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the attention to detail throughout the property was second to none. From the décor and the books to the wonderful accommodation and amenities, it could not have been a better stay. There is an amazing small swimming pool to relax by when you need a break, the rooms are all wonderfully unique, and the artwork and antiques found throughout the hotel make it feel as though you are stepping into a magical world. There is nothing generic, boring, or out of place here! Finally, the two hosts, Erik and Olivier, perhaps made the trip even more special. We felt welcomed and cared for at all times, whilst still feeling completely at home. I really could not recommend them more highly. I would come back here again and again!

“Little haven of peace in Honfleur”

From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome by Eric, the host. He had reserved us a space in the small courtyard to park our car. Our bedroom was light, spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. No noise from the street meant we slept very well. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, homemade yoghurt, and viennoiseries. The whole house is beautifully decorated, feels homely and cosy. The garden is just gorgeous. It's laid out so you can rest your eyes on beautiful plants wherever you look, with private areas where you can read on comfortable seats. There is also a small swimming pool. Just down the road is a pleasant little restaurant, Sissy and Voltaire, but there's plenty of choice as the hotel is a short walk from the harbour. Highly recommended indeed.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service that set the tone for our stay. The attention to detail throughout Villa du Cèdre was remarkable. Our room was not only beautifully decorated but also impeccably clean and comfortable. Every little touch, from the luxurious linens to the thoughtfully placed amenities, made us feel right at home. It was clear that Eric & Olivier had gone above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect.

“Charming and elegant getaway in Honfleur”

We had a marvelous four-day stay at the charming and elegant Villa Du Cedre. The historic home has been completely renovated from top to bottom in an exquisite style with both modern flair and historic flourishes. The moment you walk in the front door, you are greeted by an elegant living area with two large rooms where you can relax and read. The house is filled with the kind of special touches that you rarely find in most high-end accommodations--from beautiful lighting and wallpaper to carefully selected antiques and accessories. Our room was very comfortable and outfitted with everything we needed for our stay. The daily breakfast in the stunning garden was a treat as well. But the icing on the cake are the owners and hosts, Eric and Olivier, who are wonderful, kind and helpful. They truly made our stay special!

A charming villa with tasteful interior design and a beautifully maintained garden, located in a quiet and convenient area. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were kind, helpful, and friendly. We were very pleased with our short stay and only wish the weather had been warmer so we could have spent more time enjoying this wonderful place, especially the lovely garden and the pool.

Beautiful and tasteful house , bedrooms and gardens with pool. Breakfast can be inside or outside in shaded or dummy parts of garden. Excellent continental breakfast ( yoghourt, fruit, different tyoes of croissants , breads , meat , eggs, cheeses that varied each day . The owners were so helpful and lovely and friendly

The hospitality of Eric and Oliver as our hosts for the weekend was exceptional. The hotel is a delight - beautifully decorated and comfortable. The continental breakfast was very generous and the location is very close to the centre of the town. We would strongly recommend the Villa du Cedre.
