“Relaxing stay with exceptional hospitality”
Nadia made us feel as if we were at home. Stunning views and walks. We were within close driving distance of Hondarribia and beach. Attention to detail so we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our 10-day stay. We didn't want to leave! Very doggy friendly! Loved San Sebastian too!

“Lovely and peaceful , walking trails all around and the local town was a 10 minute drive . France was a ten minute boat”
The property had everything one needed and if there was anything one needed the host was on hand to help out, whether it was something big or small or directions to a nice restaurant, she did bookings for us for a vet for our dogs to booking a beautiful restaurant also gave us a lift so we didn’t have to find parking in town. Parking in the centre is limited but ample parking near the beach which is only a ten minute walk back to the beautiful centre.

It was amazing experience! We felt in love in those places by Casa Kostaenea. Absolutely I recommend this apartment for family and everyone who likes a nature and quiet. We would like to back soon again! Thank you Nadia for her hospitality.

“Quiet for sleeping, well equipped, lots of fresh air and in the green”
The hostess was very accommodating and gave us lots of good tips. The rooms were practical, super clean and nicely furnished. There were even a few little things in the fridge and some tomatoes from the garden. We felt comfortable and slept really well as the house is a passive house and has good air conditioning. If we visit the area again, we would be happy to stay with Nadia and her husband again.

“Very fine apartment in beautiful spot”
An apartment in a lovely quiet spot, a place handled with enormous care. Nadia is super friendly and communication is easy. From the apartment there is a variety of things you can do: hiking, go to the beach, visit San Sebastian or Hondarribia etc.

As a Basque myself I am not easy to impress with my own country because I am used to the wild stunning landscapes that surround us and the gastronomy and everything about our land. Bearing in mind that , Kostoenena is by far my favourite place to stay when in the Basque Country due to the privilege spot where it is located with an insane view of Hondarribia ,the spanish french border coastline and the genuine basque way of living that surrounds the house. Perfection. The house is stunning and comfortable, you can feel the love for the details in every corner and has everything that you need and much more. It is an old "caserio" rebuilt by the owners themselves with all the facilities , a big private terrace with sofas and barbecue that our dog enjoyed very much. We had a terrific stay not only because the location and the house are just perfect but because the owners were really easygoing and nice, they made the experience better with their recommendations. The place really has a soul ✨️
