Patxi and Fátima were excellent hosts. They were accomodating and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend.

Everything was absolutely fabulous... from the warm, friendly welcome from Fatima, the excellent bed and bathroom to the delicious breakfast served by Patxi Can't wait to go back!!!

Rustic and authentic basque house. Had a little lounge and a bedroom with en-suite. Out in the countryside.

Fatima and Patxi welcomed me as if I arrived home. Their warm and thoughtful hospitality was invaluable. The location is spectacular, along the Camino route.

It was a very rural, peaceful setting that was close enough to walk into Hondarribia Centre. Exceptionally attentive & friendly hosts, fantastic breakfasts with local fresh produce. A very good restaurant that can be accessed through a gate at the end of the garden. Would return in a heartbeat. Loved it. Thank you, Fatima & Patxi.

Great location on the Camino del Norte. Spotlessly clean. Lovely quiet location. Comfortable bed, I had the best night’s sleep in years. The hosts are lovely and very welcoming. An excellent breakfast to start the day. Highly recommended.

Loved staying here, the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, they were keen to help me practice my Spanish and gave good recommendations for town and local restaurants, my room had a private sitting room also, so quite spacious, also there was a communal area which was nice also. Breakfast was very nice. If you're interested in staying away from the middle of town, with a country feel this is a great option

Really liked the friendliness and welcoming of the owners. The breakfast was excellent, lots of variety of food. The owner was very helpful in providing information about the area.

Perfect place to start the camino, which is just right around the corner. I had a big night sleep, owners made me a nice breakfast and even packed some for the hike. Owners are super kind and helpful. Absolutely recommanded!

Wonderful - a comfortable room in a picturesque house in beautiful gardens & quiet surroundings (but only a 15 minute walk down a country lane to the centre of Hondarribia). Breakfast was great and Patxi and Fatima were very friendly and helpful with anything you could ask for

Everything was great, starting with the location on the outskirts of Hondarribia but very close to the Camino del Norte path; then the beautiful old house, lovingly maintained and cared for by its wonderful owners, the room with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom, and last but not least the very tasy breakfast!

Amazing place with wonderful friendly hosts who couldn't do enough to help us, the boiled eggs from their chooks were yummy and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay, just wish it was a bit longer.

Amazing, interesting hosts who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Old World charming house, planned and constructed solely by the owner in 1988, with a traditional Basque-style feel, and the owners are happy to share information about Basque culture. Good location within reasonable walking distance to Hondarribia (if you like to walk) and out the door, there are many great walks into the hills. An easy 45-minute drive into Donastia-San Sebastian, and close to French Basque Country. Don't miss the Hendaye bay and beach promenade. Casa Rural Iketze is very close to the Camino Santiago (North) so many of the guests are there overnight to continue their hike on the Camino. The rooms are clean and spacious, and ours had a private terrace attached.
