“What a find!”

The views are incredible, from the room, the breakfast area, from anywhere! It's very quiet with the sound of the birds waking you up in the morning. Fantastic service. Breakfast was enormous and very tasty - fruit, dry meats, cheese, breads, cakes, along with juice, coffee and homemade cider - amazing. The room was spacious, with a panoramic window overlooking the bay , terrace and and good bathroom. Bed was very big and comfy

Wonderful situation with views across the bay. Very confortable clean room with large balcony. Delicious breakfast with fruit, pastries and omelette served at the table with a glass of cider.

Beautiful property with beautiful views. Our host was lovely and they had just opened the restaurant the night we stayed so went for dinner. The food was amazing and the staff were lovely! The location from booking.com takes you somewhere else so be sure to just google and you will find your way. Breakfast was big and filling! The beach is a short walk down the hill and very dog friendly

The view from the property is amazing. We ate breakfast, (which was substantial and excellent), looking down at the marinas, the various beaches and waterways, the towns of Hondarribia and Irun; and the scenery in the distance. We had a puncture on the way there and the following morning the proprietor (Beeshan) called around to get a garage to look at fixing it for us. The property is a real hidden gem. The place could be difficult to locate I would imagine. We used Google Maps and it did a decent job to get us close, although at one point it wanted us to drive into a car park. This was about half a mile before the correct turn off. Essentially, a mile or two after leaving town (with the sea on your right) you come to a part of the crash barrier (also on your right) which has graffiti on it. At that point you'll see a drive on the left. There is a sign at the junction saying Higeralde, but it's easy to miss. The drive leads right the way up the hill to the property, which is also marked Higeralde, near the entrance.

Struggled to find the Hotel , but the info did say to call for advice on how to find it - shame I didn’t read that earlier. It was well worth the struggle though, large room, absolutely beautiful breakfast with the best breakfast view I have ever had. On a slightly negative aspect extra pillows would have been appreciated and a fix to the shower screen would stop the floor flooding

Such a warm greeting, our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and are clearly passionate about this wonderful place! Superb breakfast with a snifter of artisanal cider, spacious comfy rooms, glorious views over the bay. 5 minutes from the cape, great for dawn seabird watches! So glad we found this place, next time we would stay more time.
