Set in attractive gardens and offering countryside views, Casa Rural Arotzenea is just 3.5 km from San Sebastian Airport. This rustic, chalet-style hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. “A perfect retreat in this crazy world, very therapeutic.”
Monica was so genuinely welcoming, spoke perfect English and showed us to a beautiful room with lovely views over her gardens and the stunning countryside. The breakfast was exceptionally good, lots of choice, excellent quality and filled us up for hours.

“Perfect place to relax and explore the Basque Country”
We enjoyed a fantastic stay in Arotzenea. It is a beautiful and very comfortable house in an amazing location. The family room is spacious and comfortable with privacy and views of the mountains. The host made us felt welcome and was attentive and helpful. The breakfast is very nice, plenty of excellent quality options and is served in a lovely terrace with incredible views.

What a beautiful place - deep in the countryside and yet only a 15 minute drive from the sea and the restaurants and the walled city of Hondarribia. Monica is an amazing host and switches seamlessly between languages. We were made to feel very welcome.

Al fresco breakfast was brilliantly displayed , varied and really nice to eat. Host alerted us to takeaway service for evening meal from down town, which was great because we do not have a car and got lost in the foothills walking on the way there.

“Comfortable stay in the middle of knowwhere (you want to be)!”
Very quiet location where one can come to rest when arrived. Excellent breakfast in the terrace outside with a panoramic view. Close to Hundaribbia where you can find lots of good restaurants. Nice room. Fine decoration. Very big garden.

“An excellent stay at Casa Rural Arotzenea”
Casa Rural is located in the middle of the mountains. It is not easy to get there but it is totally worth it, also we got detailed instructions on how to get to the property. The place is beautifully located! We truly had an amazing stay there. The host is super nice and helpful. The breakfast at the terrace was just unreal. We woke up to the smell of freshly baked bread. Everything was perfect and we definitely will be back :) Thank you again!
