“Could have been great, ended up being fine, but double-check there’ll be someone there when you arrive”
The bed was large and comfortable, the aircon worked, the price was reasonable, and there were clearly a lot of facilities there that could have been used if there had been people there.

The chalets are set in lovely gardens with several small swimming pools dotted around. The surrounding area is quiet but at the time of our visit there was some form of festival on the go centered on the squre a few blocks away from which noise could be heard well into the night.

The cabins are cosy, the bed comfortable, the shower good. The pool and jacuzzi in the garden areas are great. Location is great for the many local cenotes. Unlike some of the other reviews, I found it to be clean and the jacuzzi worked well. The Internet worked.

“I would come back if they fix the internet and the jacuzzi so we can enjoy the whole property.”
It’s a beautiful little oasis. The cabins are beautiful and rustic with air conditioning. The areas are green with lots of plant life. The rooms spacious and bathrooms beautiful. When we had issues the kind owner offered us a complementary breakfast.

Homun is a wonderful town that thrives on the Cenote tourism, but mainly catering to Mexican tourists, espicallit folks from Merida out for weekend escapes and such. As Americans, we were a bit of novelty, but everyone was lovely and patient with our imperfect Spanish. The Finca itself is slightly hard to find; most street numbers are hard to spot from the street, and the outside wall is anonymous. But inside is a beautiful wonderland; it would be a fantastic place for a large family gathering or group of friends traveling together.
