The booking experience and all the confusing emails were very annoying. Considering there was no human contact we can’t understand why the machines in service are so complex 🙄

this is definitely not a 3 star hotel. The rooms are in a cheaply built side building, rooms very simple and small, and the pictures are misleading. Restaurant is not open at all, and the pictures on booking.com are mis-leading, showing things that do not exist anymore. Many youth hostels are better than this place. The location in an industrial area is also terrible. we did not stay in the place, but decided to stay in another hotel (had to pay again, and we were not even offered a discount here). The other hotel was just 10 Euro more and with river view

Rooms could have air conditioner. Is early September and summer has just finished but I was still feeling hot in the room during the night. I had to open fully the windows.

The room was perfect we stayed with four friends everyone had enough space to move around. The bathroom was clean and huge. Breakfast was small but really good everything you need is there.

We booked a comfort double room situated in the main building. Turns out the “main building” is a 70’s build outside of the reception building which is the pretty Fachwerk House advertised in the photos. The main building - as opposed to the pretty Fachwerk - looks more of a Motel. The room itself was not very clean. The curtains were stained, so were the sheets and even worse, the walls showed brown water marks from a pipe damage. The view was a disaster as we looked into a backyard with construction tools laying around everywhere. In fact, the surroundings overall are very industrial with a big smelly factory right in front of the hotel. The worst experience for us however was that the staff did not wear masks although this is a mandatory Covid requirement. That made us feel very unsafe as we were travelling with our newborn baby. All these circumstances made us check-out early and end up not staying the night. Hence, I cannot comment on the quality of the breakfast included in the room rate. Based on what we’ve seen/ experienced, the hotel strikes more of a motel feel and is highly overpriced. Would not book again. Do appreciate the friendliness of the staff although not following Covid regulations as strictly as they should.
