The young man receptionist spoke English and was very friendly and helpful. He’s also very efficient. We found that the kitchen sink drain was leaking and he immediately called someone to come to fix it.

We were super happy here . It was a very big space . we were in the villa room. could easily fit 6 people. the lay out was great and very clean. lots of storage space. loved the roof top pool area. as well as a balcony with rocking chairs. it was a easy walk to everything. Andrea the manger was a absolute angel. She was very king and thoughtful. she was a big help to give info on the island. she went above and beyond to take care of us. even after we checked out she helped as navigate our next accommodation. we would recommend this place. Thank you very very much Andrea.

“Charming Place with a Positive Energy”

The hotel has very beautiful Mexican-style decorations, with charming details like the doors, small tables, and chairs that give the place a warm and authentic atmosphere. The lady from the staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and very friendly. There is definitely a positive energy in the place, and we felt comfortable and well received during our stay.

“Left my heart in Holbox”

Fantastic accommodation in the heart of Holbox. Just a 5 minute walk from the ferry and a short walk to the bars, restaurants and shops of centro. Lovely to walk to Mosquito and Coco beach. Accommodation is spotlessly clean, comfortable, with well equipped kitchen. Lovely lounge and outdoor seating. But the standout thing about Villas Ponto is Andrea, the owner. She is a delight, so warm, welcoming and she cares about making sure you have the best stay.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from the ferry and on the edge of the town centre. The family rooms are large and well equipped with a kitchen. The swimming pool on the roof is nice, with a view on the town and the sunset

It's so good I almost didn't want to leave a review and just keep this hidden gem to myself. The staff here go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. We stayed in the ground floor 2 bedroom villa which comes with a fridge/freezer, cooktop, microwave and coffee maker so if you are on an extended stay it's so convenient. Each bathroom has its own ensuite and I have to say, this is the first hotel I have stayed at in Mexico (and I have stayed in many) that has amazing water pressure and hot hot water in the shower. There is also a large dining table and living space with a huge television. All the furniture is beautiful, it's like being in a museum. The rooftop pool is a lovely way to spend a lazy day and has a bathroom and shower. I loved this location as it is closer to the ferry side so it is nice and quiet at night. The island is so narrow that it's a 5 minute walk to the other end if you want to party.

“Friendly, comfortable, convenient, clean place to stay in centre”

Plenty of space, comfortable beds, air/con, WiFi, convenient location, lovely decor, well equipped kitchen but the best thing was Andrea, property manager who gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants, beach clubs and booked whale shark tour through her (which was amazing). She was incredibly helpful (and cheerful despite working really long hours). There were heavy showers the first two evenings we stayed on Holbox -recommend you bring crocs or dive shoes as anything else is impractical given how much the roads can flood. A taxi to port was $100 mx. Showers are what you should expect on an island in that climate, similarly WiFi can be slow or drop

The villa met our expectations in every way, and we even forgot there was a small rooftop pool, but the property manager - Andrea - was the best thing about the place. She was so friendly and helpful with everything that we said she was our favourite person in Mexico!

It was very clean and the host is super friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time, beach is a 10min walk, which is perfect. Very peaceful place just 1 street of the busiest street.

Beautiful hotel. The rooftop was an amazing space to relax and see some views of the island. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The kitchen had everything you need, and water in the shower was always hot. Would 100% recommend Villas Ponto.
